As an AVID pop a top goer-if you have yet to step foot in pop a top you are missing out. The chicken salad sandwich is from my dreams. I could eat it everyday for lunch and dinner the rest of my lifetime. I am quite sad to be leaving Gainesville in the near future and have to say a big part of that is because of pop a top chicken salad sandwich. Nothing will ever be the same what will I ever do. My only complaint is that they are closed from5-nighttime on Monday-Wednesday which limits my time option to get a chicken salad sandwich. I sware l see the staff at pop a top more than my roommates they are the best. Long live pop.

Wife and I had a couple sandwiches and our little one had a grilled cheese. They were delicious! Located in the best part of Gainesville. Gives a new York deli kind of vibe only the service was very nice! When I pass through again I'll be making this a lunch spot for sure ?
Vegetarian options: They had a whole section of vegan meats and veggie plates!

I decided to try this place and wasn’t expecting anything amazing but wow…they got me. They have a variety of vegan sandwiches and good portions. I tried the “Culture Club” and WOW. It TASTED AMAZING!!! I immediately took a photo to send to vegan friends and recommending the place. Staff was friendly too…and the portions were larger than expected. Pleasantly surprised?

This is a cute place with very good food. Sandwich and soup combo was tasty but the tomato bisque didn't go very well with the veggie sandwich I got. Ingredients were very fresh and the price isn't too bad.
Vegetarian options: Very good vegan and veg choices on the menu.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of options and made to order.
Parking: There is free parking nearby but it will be routinely taken.

This place has good sandwiches but I literally just paid $17 for a sandwich and tea. Prices are just getting absolutely out of control. I know inflation is real but….

Had a great visit here recently during Fest! Great selection of items, including vegan/vegetarian sandwiches. My husband got the regular Cuban and I got a Tofurkey deli style sandwich. Staff were super friendly and the service was quick. Really like the concept of the place... can't wait to visit again!

This is a cool little sandwich shop, very tasty. Girls working there are super nice.
Parking: It is located on a busy intersection, and there are free spaces but very rarely any open. On wednesdays at the Bo Diddley plaza, they save the spaces all day for the afternoon farmers market. But walking is good for us to enjoy a lovely lunch.

I used Pop A Top for a large take out order for an alumnae event recently. Mazy the manager was very responsive and thorough. Not only was the order for 25 all correct and ready on time but everything was delicious! Everyone in our party was so impressed! Pop A Top is a cute little bodega in downtown Gainesville. Go grab a delicious sandwich or salad!

Such a fun spot in the heart of downtown. The food is delicious, a great value, and made to order. They also carry essential convenience items, like lighters, chapstick, gum, snacks!

Simple, quick, and delicious. I got the cuban muffaletta for $12. I love this flavor combination—the brininess and slight heat of the muffaletta broke up the heavy meat fillings nicely. $12 is a little steep for the quantity of food provided, but it's a good product!
