They are always extremely helpful. I've never had a bad experience here. They do an outstanding job.

I love the Publix subs but it's hardly worth going in there for one anymore. The wait is about 10 minutes per person standing in line because they prioritize online orders above those standing there waiting. Employees who are manning other stations without customers just stand there instead of helping where needed to expedite the wait time. Absolutely abhorrent workflow and just a negative experience every time I go in. Customer experience is circling the drain at this Publix, will start going to another.

This was the Publix of my childhood here in Gainesville, so there's an incredible amount of nostalgia when shopping here which is probably why I still do. However, in the past 6 months or so, the prices, service, and quality have become so poor that I find myself avoiding this store unless I am in dire need of something. Returns used to be simple and without prejudice or shaming, however, the individuals working at the service counter regularly try to refuse to give refunds/exchanges for items purchased in the store. The prices are insane -- you're hard pressed to find anything under $5, even for non-GMO/non-organic products. They gaslight you into thinking you're getting a "deal" with the BOGO sales, but there is no reason that a gallon of milk should be over $5; it's highway robbery. They don't carry certain organic produce items (such as *orange* bell peppers), even if you go to the department head and request it. Honestly, the scowls and unhappiness exuded from the employees is palpable and makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience. For contrast, Whole Foods prices are substantially less and the employees are overall nicer. After shopping at this Publix since it's opening, I am starting to pull back from patronizing this store and spending my hard-earned money at other establishments that are more welcoming.

My mom went in to get her Shingles vaccine and she had checked online and it gave her the option to make an appointment or walk in. So, she decided to walk in. We got there and were turned away. The pharmacist Crystal told her she was unable to help her unless she scheduled an appointment online. There was no one there. There was no line of people waiting. no one. We will never go back to this pharmacy for a vaccine.

The cashier and the unbelievably slow bag boy didn't put all the groceries that I had paid for into my shopping cart. I didn't catch it until I got home, which is 30 minutes away. When I called and spoke to customer service, all they said was " sorry about that ". I had to drive all the way back to the store to get what I had paid for. No offer for a coupon or anything to make up for their employees incompetence.

Excellent customer service and pharmacist is always so helpful. Prescriptions always ready in a timely manner. Love the text reminders and pay by app.

Their nice... The current team is definitely better than the ones at Tower Square!... Although they're not very good at acknowledging you there either! Have a lot of youth working at the time andI remember working for Publix we had was a rule if someone was within six feet you would speak you, would greet saying hello, let me know if you need anything!? Now they put their heads down and try to run away, but that's the youth some of the management are like! That especially at Tower square. For example I was shopping for some fresh made salads and deli sliders in the deli case, there was a staff member look like a manager.... unpacking boxes I guess he was a bit irritated. He wanted me to move around but didn't know how to politely say it or whatever! He didn't greet me or say ANYTHING. Later as I was taking a photo or something he asked me could he help me? On my way out the door! It was crazy. It seemed like he knew what he was doing.... you couldn't speak to me whenI was almost in your personal space but now when I'm heading out the door you want to ask me what's wrong? Anyways I'll just deal with this one over here....

I have had issues with other pharmacies (namely cvs) for years, and Publix pharmacy, at least this location, is so amazing, I rarely run into issues here, when other places can easily give you issues every single month... love the friendliness and actual competence that just can’t be matched around here in my experience. Appreciate these people so much!

I don’t ordinarily write reviews, but the incredible customer service deserves recognition! They called in advance of my need for a refill to tell me the medication was on back order & offered to contact my doctor for an alternative. Can’t say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the pharmacists and techs. Other pharmacies should take lessons from their play book.

They did a great job during this global pandemic; thanks Publix! If you weren't in this city we haven't had access to a wide range of essential needs.

Great variety. Friendly staff. Too expensive for weekly groceries. It's the Chick-Fil-a of grocery stores.

We were in Gainesville visiting relatives and stopped in this Publix to pick up some snacks to take back to our hotel. I was so impressed with the friendly checker, Bella! She was so pleasant and engaging which made my little jaunt into this store that much better.
