Publixs' quality had really dropped. Especially in the meat department. Buyer beware. Smell the meat first. Then be sure to check it again at home out of the package. Selling spoiled me is a Winn Dixie thing and Sav a lot thing. If you are gonna sell spoiled meat, drop the prices.

Publix where it's always a pleasure. Their BOGOs are worth going for alone but the quality is fantastic. They don't sell rotten meats, slimy veggies, potatoes u can stick your thumb thru. Nope. It's Publics. Expect higher standards there because that's what you will get. Any of them. Great to know there is such a a place that cares about their food. Food born deiease is so bad. The bacterias and molds. Not at Publix and that's all their stores I've been to in Florida.
Keep it up employees. Be proud to work there. And customers,, if u want that garbage, I'm sure they have it at another store.

I came into the store about 8:30p on February 6th. I had been at work all day and needed to get last minute items to decorate my sons room for his birthday the next day. My first stop was the bakery were I discovered they were out of chocolate covered strawberries. I stood confused because my son doesn’t really care for cake so I wanted to get him 7 covered strawberries for his 7th birthday. Eiress who was working the bakery walked up and asked if I needed any help. I told her I needed covered strawberries but I see they were out. She without hesitation offered to make me up some if I didn’t mind waiting. I thanked her and told her I didn’t mind the wait since I had balloons I purchased off Amazon that I needed to get blown up. I walked to the balloon area and encountered another worker there. She was a new hire and wasn’t sure how to fill the balloons so she instantly called for help and Rachel the customer service manager came right away. She was very nice and helpful. She blew up all the balloons but when she got to the last balloon the number “7” it popped. I was understanding because I already knew the risk of purchasing balloons online, but she still was very apologetic and offered me one of their number 7 balloons in the place of. I was very pleased at the gesture and accepted the offer even though I would have been ok with purchasing it. That day was very long and exhausting for me but I’m glad I made Publix my last stop because the ladies that night helped brighten my day. I was very pleased with the customer service I received. Seeing my son’s face light up the next morning when he woke up and saw his room decorated and sweet treats made it all worth it. I can’t take full credit because it definitely took a village to make it happen and I’m just glad he loved everything. Thank you again ladies:)

The employees were friendly and helpful. The store was clean and well stocked. I will not hesitate to visit this location next time we are in Gainesville.

This Publix is truly frustrating. This is the only Publix that I visit where employees of color actively treat customers with disrespect. It's astounding to see this still going on in such a large organization.
For this reason, I've been visiting alternative stores when possible.

Not my cup of tea, this Publix is a tad bit overwhelming because it’s mad busy all times of the day, of course that’s a given, it being next to the university and all, but if you have a lot of social anxiety, I wouldn’t recommend this one. Also, there’s no space for parking, it’s all crammed in there, lowkey unorganized, and I couldn’t find the shopping carts for the life of me.

Publix is ridiculously expensive, explain to me why I pay the same high prices if a checker scans and bags my groceries vs doing it myself at self check out?
