We got to this place at 2:30am traveling due to loved one getting admitted to Shands with a health crisis. Accidentally booked our reservation for the following night. Begged the front desk lady to check us in for a discounted rate since we got here so late. She refused and charged us for the whole night. Highway robbery. No empathy or customer service.
Not only do they have no customer service they tuned the water off today with no notice. The rooms are DIRTY and there is NO WATER!!!!

Stopped here at 3am after 16 hours driving from Michigan. Customer rep at counter refused to give me a room, said check in time was 4pm. WTH...everyone checks in at 4pm only???! Ridiculous!Have never had this experience anywhere before! In fact, we immediately went next door to Comfort Inn, desperate for a place to catch a little sleep, and we were pleasantly greeted and promptly given a room.
Shame is I'm a Red Rewards member staying with Red Roof Inn everytime we travel however this experience has definitely changed my lodging preference. You don't want my business? I'll gladly take it elsewhere!

Phone broken, tv turns on but can't be controlled; tried two remotes, AC makes odd sounds, live cockroach running around in my room, elevator is filthy, drink machines broken, there is no coffee or really anything in the lobby in the morning. No maintenance staff on call in the evening, what are you supposed to do if customers have issues during the night?

Front Desk clerk was friendly. Had an issue with the 1st room, but the clerk was helpful and got our rooms switched quickly and efficiently.

People are pretty nice at the front desk The rooms could be better but they are average. Beds are very comfortable. Locations amazing It's right in the middle of the mix.

The service was just ok, couldn’t feel any hospitality from the receptionist.
Even though the corridor had the out of date feel, the room we stayed was clean and well maintained. And the smart tv was great to watch Netflix, YouTube or traditional cable channels.
No breakfast provided wasn’t an issue to us. And the water machine in the lobby was a plus. The only downside was that they only offered coffee from 6 AM till noon.
The overall experience was good. I would come back again if I have a need in the future.

Hotel was nice upon arrival. However, once getting settled into our room, we found that our room was infested with German roaches, and trash. Over 10 were found. So bad that we had to be moved to another room. And Red Roof management only offered a small discount. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Well I had been at the hospital and decided to stay wed Dec 10th at the hotel until my next appointment tomorrow. Well a started seeing roaches and they I moved the furniture and it was covered . I have video of different ones and pictures. We went at 10:50 at night and told front desk where they said we could change rooms and speak to a manager in the morning. Which only gave us 30 dollars back stating we choose to stay at the hotel.. where else was I going to go .. the off ice staff is horrible and disrespectful. I worked for Massey for 4 years.. no not book here. They can get in luggage and you take them home to your clean house to foot the bill .. red roof took no responsibility. I asked room be closed for other people which still hadn’t been done .. good luck

Should be a Nice Place, the Staff was Remarkable... Knowledgeable and a Sincere Willingness to help. Rooms are tiny in Size to other rooms. TV was Small 32 inch TV that was so Dark, you couldn't tell if it was on or off. The Room Safe Never Worked, and Housekeeping kept coming into Room even after I had a Note placed on Room that No Housekeeping Services would be needed. The place smelled like Wet Dog whole time I was there. They Do Allow animals to stay, and I'm guessing from the smell some Dogs have been taking their Dips in the Pool too, and Living it up on Vacation.
