Several years ago i paid to have some rings resized and a 14k necklace that was broken fixed. When i went to pick them up i was shown the repaired items but then walked away to ask to see something in a display case. While i was being shown the item his wife/ assistant changed out my 14k necklace with a simular style one but in 10k thinking my back was turned enough that i could not see. I was very young and new to jewelry so i didnt say anything but i never forgot it. Photograph your jewelry and document hallwarks before you drop of anything for repairs.

Robby is awesome, but he is on break and a sign in the window says Renaissance is closed thru June 21. Fyi. :0)

I love this place. The owner has always been super helpful and more than reasonable (generous I’d say!). Their inventory is super unique and i always get great vibes when I visit. This place is a gem ? ?. Definitely my fav local spot for cool vintage jewelry—and Crystals too

I asked to have a silver bracelet resized (a fairly simple procedure, I thought). They completely ruined it. Would not recommend taking anything valuable or sentimental to them.

Stood at thier locked door while the establishment was open. Sign says ring doorbell and look up. So i did exactly that. I wrang two separate times and stood there for about 2 or 3 minutes while nobody came to the door. Funny thing is, i see the sales associate and i know they saw me. I dont want to say that me being black had anything to do with it, but i was definitely denied service and entry. Ill take it for what its worth. Maybe they were busy and its policy not to open the door. All i know is they lost my business forever and i will tell everyone to just go somewhere else.

Great experience. Pretty cheap watch resizing. The guy who helped us knew a lot about jewelry and you could tell. Some nice things to look at even if you aren't for sure buying.

Be warned, hang tight to work order receipts. My husband and I wanted to give small business our service. We dropped off my wedding band that had an anniversary ring attached to it. I asked if he could do the tiny bead work back on the wedding band if he separated them. He said yes he had done that many times. I lost my receipt and in turn lost my rings (the wedding band and anniversary ring that my husband got me the year he was diagnosed with terminal cancer.)

I went here for jewelry repair. The prices were fair and the turn-around time was quick. I’d absolutely recommend them.

I had the best experience at Renaissance yesterday! Both gentlemen were kind and welcoming. Robby showed me everything and answered all my questions! I had the honor of seeing many of Robby’s original pieces and am proud to say I now own one! He’s a true artist who loves this town and his family! He gave me rose quartz for my daughter’s! I already can’t wait to go back!! I’m saving my dollars now because there are SO many beautiful things! I was there a couple hours and still couldn’t really take it all in! I will cherish these pieces I got forever! ? Oh on top of all of that. I observed them give some cash to a man in need that came in. Seems like something they do often. I was touched to see that. A local business giving back to our community in that way!I couldn’t recommend shopping here more! Check it out or stop in and buy a gift card for a loved one! You won’t regret it! ❤️Ps In case you’re wondering, Robby just pulled his mask down really quick for me for the picture! So I can add that it’s a very safe place to shop right now! Another added bonus! ?

Was quoted $45 for a ring size down from 9.5 to 8. When I came to pick it up he tried charging me a 35% markup from that. Said it was for rhodium plating, which we never discussed/approved.After having him measure the ring, it was still too large by a quarter so I needed to wait another week for them to correct it.When I came back the 2nd time, he still wanted to charge me the extra $25 but this time he said it was for "profit", not rhodium plating.I know things are hard for everyone in the pandemic but this seems so predatory. If your price is $70 for a ring re-size down….say that. I only went with them because they quoted the lowest and now I know why.

I went in around 4:45 to look at the crystals for a second on my way to get ice cream next door. The man working was rude about it being close to closing and made my friend and I so uncomfortable we walked straight out. I will not be purchasing any crystals from this negative environment in the future. I had seen this shop many times and was looking forward to going inside. This was very disappointing.I understand informing us of closing procedures but the tone and way of doing so is what turned us away. I have worked in customer service for six years and I understand getting upset when someone comes in right before close, but l always try my best to still make them feel welcomed.
