I bought a mattress online. As soon as I clicked the order button I noticed it was being delivered to the wrong address. I immediately contacted Sam's Club. I was told to wait until it was shipped and to check delivery status. I called about 8 times!!!! I was given another number to call and they don't speak much English. They told me to call FedEx which I already tried to do, but as I am NOT the seller they will not do anything. I have made so many calls. No one will help me. I want a refund on EVERYTHING!

Went in to sams today to get a few things and my 4 year old saw some clearance boots that were broken. I didn't really want to buy them, but to avoid a temper tantrum I took the only pair of unicorn boots in a 9/10 up to the register with the rest of my groceries.I asked an employee if there was anything they could do for me because the boots were broken on the top and he called Susan over....Susan proceeded to tell me I was lying that there were more boots back there in that size...when clearly they are on clearance why would there be more....anyway completely stupid customer service....I paid 8 dollars for a pair of boots that were broken at the top while not bad still bad customer service...and I've been a retail manager for 30+ years

God damn, spending money at the club like Sam's. Pros - selection, staff, return lines generally short, gas prices are economical. Cons - lines can be long (use scanner on phone app), weekends are kind of busy to be expected, parking a nightmare at times.

Many great Christmas gifts to choose from! Friendly, helpful staff! I'm sad to see this is the second Sam's out of animal crackers, lol. Easy self checkout, low prices!

A very clean and neat Sam's since its relocation and opening in 2016. And the store even sells roasted chicken, fully-cooked barbeque baby back ribs, and southern style potato salad by the big containers (unlike what most grocery competitors offer)? Wow, the old Sam's on 13th street (now occupied by a Rural King) didn't carry those products. I loved them, enjoyed them, and they're pretty cheap. Well done!

I hate this Sams club! Literally couldn’t go in without checking in at the customer service desk. She wanted to make sure my card was valid and also, if I was the primary cardholder. WTH? What does that even matter! I’ve never had an issue with sams club, but I sure hope they don’t make me check in at customer service everytime I come to shop or I’ll re-think renewing my membership.

Unfortunately the wonderful rotisserie chickens that used to be perfectly cooked are now consistently under cooked! The last 3 I have purchased have been jelly like in all the dark meat and even some of the breast meat.

SAMS gas decided to add cones where there is only way into the pumps. Doing this has added more congestion and makes it take longer to get gas. Today There was a long line outside of the gas area and when I pulled pass to leave I noticed the left side gas pumps were almost empty so I circle around, I see the cones but go pass them because there are open pumps! Wasting peoples time because others don't know how to drive is bad business. I've been there in the morning g where the attendant helps direct traffic and get people to open pumps! However today the attendant Tyler when I complain to him tells me it's not his job to direct traffic and said I need to get my gas and leave!

Went here because I recently moved to Gainesville and was looking for a place to buy 1) a new battery for my car, and 2) an extra freezer for our garage.Door attendant directed me to the service desk, where I waited for about 20 mins while I watched 3 people mostly look at each other while awaiting a manager and then waiting for some kind of computer program to load. When it was my turn, the girl behind the counter could not really tell me about the difference between the regular and the premium membership, especially with regard to the automotive benefits. She told me I'd have to go ask the automotive people. I went to automotive and stood in line for another 15mins before the automotive attendant was able to take me through all the details of the regular and premium memberships (basically did the service desk girl's job) before telling me that they did not have my size battery (35) in stock. He told me to call back after their shipment that week - I did, they didn't get any size 35 batteries delivered. He did mention that they've had a lot of calls about size 35 batteries - so I guess lots of demand that doesn't get communicated to the ordering/stocking people? All in all, after about 45mins of waiting and a couple phone calls, Sam's did not deliver.I took a walk around the store before exiting to get an idea of what I'd be getting with my membership to compare to my prior experience at Costco. All of our staple food items (for example, milk, eggs, fizzy water, etc. etc.) were all about $1-2 more expensive here and often lower quality. However, automotive supplies were similarly priced and better in some instances, but I don't purchase that kind of stuff often. Honestly, a lot of their merchandise seemed to be stuff that's made in China (cheap as possible, variable quality).Gainesville is the first place I've lived without a Costco and so I've been to probably 10-12 Costcos in the past. This experience at Sam's doesn't even compare - which is what I've generally been told, but hadn't experienced for myself. I don't understand how Costco can charge only $20 more for a membership and then provide all the staple items for cheaper, provide better service (never waited longer than 20mins at the service desk and the first person always solves the issue rather than referring you), and provide better pay/benefits for their employees.Do not be fooled by the slightly different decor, Sam's is still Wal-mart. And if you think that flag in the front of the store means you're supporting a hard-working American business by shopping here, well I'm not sure what to tell you... I'm going to drive to Jax to get my battery at Costco and probably buy the freezer at Costco or Best Buy.2 stars instead of 1 because the Automotive guy actually knew what he was talking about, got to me in to me in a reasonable amount of time, and genuinely wanted to help.Update: Went to Costco, where they had plenty of size 35 batteries (Interstate brand, too). Arrived at 5:24 PM, and installation was complete at 5:51 PM. Total time was less than the time I spent just waiting in line at Sam's.

Great Bargains, Fresh Fruits and vegetables are always available. The desserts and breads in the bakery are marvelous. The meats are a little pricey right now, but I'm hoping that they will eventually come down.
