San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park offers a beautiful and quiet outdoor experience with a variety of long, well-maintained trails suitable for all skill levels. Visitors can enjoy exploring a mix of flat woods and wetlands, where abundant wildlife such as deer, raccoons, and gopher tortoises can be seen. The park is dog-friendly, allowing leashed dogs to accompany visitors on the trails, which are clearly marked and easy to access from nearby parking areas. While the trails provide excellent opportunities for walking and wildlife viewing, visitors are advised to bring mosquito repellent and be aware of poison ivy along certain sections. Some trails may have fallen trees due to hurricanes, but volunteers are working to clear them. The park also features porta potties for convenience. Overall, it’s a peaceful spot perfect for nature lovers, hikers, and dog owners alike.

Very nice long trail options, wished people wouldn't toss their bags of poop, even if it says biodegradable they'll be visible for years, otherwise 5 stars.

Beautiful. Peaceful (minus the highway noise). Lots of different trails. Only $2/person. Dogs allowed (on leash).
