The management is incredibly rude not only to customers but also their own staff.

The place is kept very clean in comparison to other thrift stores. I used to shop at chain thrift stores like Plato’s, but now Sandys is my first choice. They are much cleaner, more organized, and fair prices. They definitely keep up with the place, it is run well. It doesn’t feel confined, which is normally the case for thrift/consignment stores, as they keep it well organized and declutterred. This is a great place to buy clothes, shoes and accessories. They even have a designer section!

I enjoyed shopping here until today when, after calling to confirm they might be very interested in my new and almost new Levis, I brought in the 4 pairs of 31 waist women's Levis jeans in black and indigo. They advertise no appointment needed if you are bring in 5 items, but after driving 45 minutes to get there, told me it would be 3 hrs. before they might have time to look at them. How long would it take you to look at 4 pairs of jeans? This was my 1st and last time bringing in clothing to this venue. I took my jeans and left. I will not be going there again to shop or otherwise.

Buying here is always pretty great. It’s frustrating to co-sign anything here. A 325 dollar Coach bag with the original tag still on isn’t worth a measly 30 dollars. 2 Carhartt scrubs, while scrubs, aren’t worth 3 dollars when they were originally 60 dollars each. I’m genuinely done bringing any items here.

I have kind of a love/hate relationship with Sandy's... I absolutely *love* shopping there, but I have been incredibly frustrated every single time I've brought in items to consign. So, this review is in two parts. The shopping is SO much fun! I love the thrill of the hunt, especially if it ends up with me finding a bargain. In fact, if you're looking for jeans, I'd recommend you try Sandy's first, even before Ross or TJ Maxx. HUGE selection and bargains galore, from basics like Old Navy to super high-end like Hudson. The store itself is open, airy, well-lit and beautifully organized. One of my favorite finds ever was a pair of cranberry Ivanka Trump flats in suede, perfect for the holidays, on clearance for $1... not a fan of the family, but hey, cute shoes are cute shoes.Bringing clothes in for resale, however, is another story. I swore after the last time I would NEVER do it again; however, my teenage daughter persuaded me to give it another try and she went thru every item (hers, mine, and my son's), carefully curating the items with me. I took in a laundry basket and a huge shopping bag full of stuff; of that, they offered me $5 for a pair of men's Sperry's. When I told my daughter, she was incredulous and asked, "Are you sure they actually went thru ALL of it??"Huh. Good question, especially considering the Sperry's were on top. On unpacking the items that I'm going to give away, it became obvious that most of them hadn't been unfolded... I have a particular way of folding, and they remained folded the exact same way, in the same stacked order., which means someone had pretty much hastily flipped thru them, quickly glancing without even unfolding. Among the items refused were:- dresses from Garnet Hill and Hollister- skirts from American Rag, Hollister, Izod, and Gap- tops and tees from American Rag, Gap, Esprit, Club Monaco, Free People, White House/Black Market, Talbots, Cabi, and Ralph Lauren- dressier tops from Ann Taylor, Cache, Bebe, and Tart- boys'/mens' cargo shorts, including Paper Denim & Cloth- girls' denim Hollister shorts.Keeping in mind that all of the items were in current style, season, and in new or like-new condition, it's hard to believe that NONE of them were deemed resale worthy... but then, it's hard to imagine they got a fair evaluation when they weren't even unfolded. When my last two batches of clothes were refused, I blamed myself for bringing in stuff that was probably too "mature" (Banana Republic, White House, Loft, etc), but with most of this last batch being junior sizes, styles, and brands, I really have to wonder. So, long review short, I do love shopping at Sandy's. I highly recommend it and will continue to shop here both for myself and my teenage kids. I always have fun shopping and I ALWAYS find something to buy. As far as bringing in clothes for resale, I'd recommend keeping your expectations low, because it can be very disappointing and frustrating have almost 100% of your items refused.

Cute for bags, but Plato’s has better clothing selection.

We shop regularly at Sandy's and it is a hidden treasure. They lean toward a higher end selection of goods for sale or taken on consignment. Fair prices. One suggestion: have a list of people who can be called upon to transport the larger items home for a reasonable price.

Im never disappointed. Yes some things like furniture are pricey but they have to make their money too. I’ve sold and always content with my share. It’s fair. I love that they’re open late. Helps us moms on the go with some after work retail therapy. Staff is always nice. Win all around. Thank you Sandys!

Went to sell my items, they told me it would take an hour to finish, after an hour and a half I came by to check on them, they told me they hadn’t processed them yet even tho I only had 3 items. It took them four hours to finish and by the time I got there they made me wait 20 minutes to cash out, the cashier was talking the entire time and making mistakes with the other customer ahead of me. Will not be purchasing or selling my items there anymore. Thank god for Plato’s closest at least they’re more reasonable when it comes to selling and purchasing my items and courteous of people’s time.

So many great clothes and prices are reasonable. Nice to receive cash vs store credit.

I love this consignment store. They have a huge selection and do a pretty good job of going through the clothes and only putting out clothes that are in excellent/good shape. It's very rare that I see something with a stain or rip. The prices are very reasonable for used clothing and I love their rewards system of earning points/money for more clothing. I also like the fact that they don't just take and sell only name brand stuff. I like to buy things based on styles that I like - not just brands. I think my favorite thing about this consignment store is that it is HUGE so there's a big selection but it's also very well organized - organized by short sleeve shirts, long sleeves, shorts, pants, leggings, dresses, skirts, etc... and then each of those sections are organized by color. They also have accessories (like purses, jewelry, hats, belts, etc...), home decor, furniture, pillows, etc...

We've gotten some great deals from Sandy's for our new home in Gainesville. It's a pleasure to shop here as their merchandise is clean and arranged sensibly- none of the rag tag atmosphere that consignment stores sometimes have. Their staff is friendly and helpful, and went out of their way a few months ago to accommodate our request to buy four dining stools, but not the table itself. We're also planning to consign a chandelier and some other items with them later this spring and are looking forward to working with them.

My first time selling to them after hearing about them and they donated my shoes. I don’t remember the slip that I filled out that’s says they would donate my shoes. No employee there emphasis that If I was not back that they would be donated. I understand that I took way too long to come and get my shoes back however I thought since they were only 3 shoes it would be no problem. I was really excited to have a second place to sell my used items and buy used items. But I will not be returning since the lady helping me just seemed like I was annoying her. And could only offer me just a sorry for the situation. I will not be recommending them to resale your items to. I will stick to telling people to go to the local Plato’s closet.
