I opened A money market, put a thousand dollars to avoid a maintenance fee and to invest my money. I set up paperless on my account because i cant get mail. Truist started charging a $3 statment fee and sent me mail that I did not request. Mail was returned and I was also charged $5 for that as well. Even tho I had paperless set up on my account. It happened twice then the account is under $1000 now i am being charged for maintenance fee. Ended up losing $50 because of there mistake and they didnt want to admit it.Terrible place to invest.

I just walked in 9:05am sat down to talk about my account no one greeted me or asked how can I be assisted after 10min of waiting patiently I just got up in left.

Like the last comments, if i could give zero stars, I would. At the very least, i would like for someone to return my phone call. I transferred funds from my company account to my personal account nine days ago, and Truist still has a hold on my personal account. The funds were released five days ago from my business account. This is not the first time I have had problems with Truist. It has been ongoing since the buy out. Time to find a new bank.

STAY AWAY! If I could give zero stars I would. I was a long term happy SunTrust customer that has now become disgusted with Truist Bank on MULTIPLE occasions after they bought out SunTrust (multiple problems in only 6 months). First was bill pay...I've always used Bill pay to pay my bills throughout the month, but Truist allowed one of the bill pay checks to be cashed days before the date on the check sending my account into overdraft. They sent the check too early. Did Truist care or take any accountability? Absolutely NOT! Second... My debit card was hacked. I contacted Truist within 24 hours and my debit card was cancelled due to fraud and a new card issued; however, Truist gave my new card info to a vendor for charging without my authorization. Again, no accountability. As I've been waiting for a call from the "elevation" to a supervisor for 12 days. My next call is to the National Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I have given Truist the benefit of the doubt for the last time. THIS BANK DOES NOT WORK FOR YOU! YOU CANNOT TRUST THEM TO PROTECT YOUR MONEY!

Horrible customer service! I paid for a safety deposit box a month early, however, they somehow misapplied the funds and sent me a bill with a late fee. I contacted them over the phone and was told they can't assist me with getting this error on their part figured out, even though I had proof of payment I could email them. They tell me I have to go back to the branch and take my proof of payment in. This is the main street branch, who doesn't answer their phone, ever. Horrible, horrible customer service all the way around.

I’ve tried several banks over my decades in Gainesville. SunTrust on Main Street has the most helpful and efficient staff. And friendliest! The manager Ed is generous with his good advice and time. Jamal and Jason have gone the extra mile to accommodate me. A woman who served me at the drive-through helped me sort out a problem. Highly recommend them.

I made a appointment and they still couldn't get my bank account working. They said they were open 9 to noon today and they are closed. The people that worked here lied to me yesterday and said they are open.
