I’ve been shopping at Talbots for years. I loved their business clothes when I was working and needed something other than my usual scrubs for a work management meeting. There everyday casual tee shirts and jeans are great quality and last. I absolutely love their pajamas and swimsuits. A number of years ago when my husband past away unexpectedly I needed appropriate clothes for his funeral needless to say I was numb when I went in looking for clothes to wear to the vigils and the funeral the staff couldn’t have been more helpful they put me in a dressing room and brought me many items and saved me from actually having to shop. Made me and my sister who was with me loyal customers from that day 20 yrs ago and still today.

I just left the store. Store manage Beth were pretty rude to me. I wanted to learn shirts price she barely answered me without smiling or greeting. I walked to try another tshirt as soon as I walked towards fitting rooms. She made fun of me to another associate. Only thing I can think of I am talking with an accent. Which is discriminatory. She shouldn't be face of Talbot or in another business direct contact to customers. Made me feel so unwelcome, uncomfortable and bad today.

After being showed a picture of what I was looking for, the store manager took me to something completely different and when told that wasn't it, she just said "well you see what we have" and then literally walked away and started talking with someone else. Incredibly rude and unwelcoming. How does this place have such a high rating????

I called ahead to ask if some of the catalog items were in stock and Sherri answered. She was super helpful and I made a time to come in to try everything on. When I arrived she had everything I asked for and more based on my previous purchases ready in the dressing room for me. Talk about service. I also appreciated her honesty as to how things looked and fit. She also showed me how to wear the clothes more flatteringly. She was just so helpful. I am bringing my Aunt back so she can help her with some blazers. Thanks Sherri!
