Terrible service, 2 hours waiting and no one helped me open an account!

Absolutely terrible customer service. I had a fraudulent charge on my account that TD did catch and block. they also locked my card at my request. Customer Service advised me that I can go to a local branch and have a card printed there.
I went to this branch as it's the only one near me and they told me that they were not able to print one there. I asked to speak to a manager and another teller came over instead and said that they would not print a card.
After speaking to Customer service again to try and expedite my new card they assured me that all branches have the capability to print new cards and that I had been lied to by this location.
TD has been and still is a great service but this location is terrible and I advise you to try and find another one if possible.
TD Bank, Please either open an alternate location here in Gainesville Florida or send someone from corporate to train these employees on how to properly assist customers. This location is costing you many customers through their incompetence.

It's taking them 6 business days to process a check for me and during the time a bill pulled money out of my account and overdrew it, while I had a check processing for more then the amount it was overdrawn they continually Charged me late fees and locked me out of my account, I now have to drive an hour (one way) to verify that I am myself so far the worst banking experience I have ever had. The only redeeming factor is that the lady on the phone was helpful and knowledgeable about the system

This bank is so slow. There can be no one and they just look at you through the window. When they finally get to you. No matter how small the transaction they take 20 - 30 minutes. I donāt have a personal account with them itās a business account through my work. However if you do look for business account make sure you double check everything. They made a mistake and omitted cash in a deposit and getting it corrected is impossible . They had to know their drawer didnāt match when they closed out for the day. Why is it such a hassle to get it fixed?

Ms. Sherry is a sweet flower that blossoms always! Every encounter is always welcoming. With that being said, it is very easy to set aside the warm welcoming bank tellers from the uptight, prissy & āunable to helpā tellersā¦.If I recall her name correctly, Ms. Melissa was straightforward and relayed some helpful information as to withdrawing a higher cash amount, but it was when I slightly misunderstood some information or forgot which is when she got stern and addressed me as if I was, āless than smartā which is a nicer way to call someone stupid. As a local educator with multiple degrees and certifications I donāt take too kind of the fact that because a customer asks for clarity does not mean they are undermining your intelligence as the teller, questioning the policy, or mean they are incompetent. As a communicative person, clarity means digging deeper and asking for more insightā¦sometimes the double visits and extra questions means the customer is trying to understand better and not harass you? Anyways, I hope the next set of customers enjoy their day! Be sure to ask one question and one question only or you might get talked at and not talked to.

My visit to the Gainesville office today was wonderful. Sherri was pleasant and adept at her job. She handled replacing my lost debit card and was more than willing to do anything else that was needed.

I went into the bank the other day to close my account spoke with Sherri.
Because I transferred money from my checking to savings, it posted as pending. That happens, an account canāt be closed.
My first feeling was annoyance because it was an internal transfer from my accounts and I thought I was going to have to come back.
Sherri Said TD Can close the account without me there at that point and I didnāt have to come back.
Today I received a call from Sherri telling me my account was closed. never received the call from a bank or something like this. Thank you for confirming my account being closed. Very convenient.

TD has consistently provided the best banking service of any banks Iāve been to. Hunter is friendly and helpful, I would say no other bank provides this level of customer service for retail banking.

Wouldnāt deal with them again. Completely unprofessional. You are the reason banks are not trusted. Charging a check cashing fee for a check drawn off your bank doesnāt make me want to bank with you. It is however going to make me ask your client for an alternative form of payment as his check cannot be redeemed for face value.

Absolutely amazing customer service! The staff went above and beyond to help me with an international transaction, and everyone was incredibly patient and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this bank!
