I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my recent experience at The Gator Store was upsetting enough that I feel it’s worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, there was a noticeable lack of organization. The layout was confusing, items seemed misplaced, and no one greeted me or offered help despite there being staff nearby.
When I did approach an employee with a question, I was met with what felt like complete disinterest. My concerns weren’t addressed, and it seemed like I was interrupting rather than being helped. I’ve shopped at many small and large retailers over the years, and I’ve never felt so disregarded as a customer.
What made the experience even more disappointing was the gap between what I expected—based on the store’s reputation and appearance—and the reality of how I was treated. I left without making a purchase, not because they didn’t have what I needed, but because the way I was treated made me feel like my business wasn’t valued.
I hope the store takes this kind of feedback seriously, because customers shouldn’t leave feeling more frustrated than when they walked in.

my girlfriend and i walk here on the regular for drinks and the person behind the counter is always polite. the first time we ever stopped in, the attendant told us a really cute joke about indian grandmothers and made a long time customer out of us.
(P.S., please keep stocking the orangeade arizonas! youre the only place in town that sells them and theyre amazing)

I love this place, living at 2nd Ave has made this place so convenient and the workers are the best the man Greg, Imran, Sketch, and La always holding it down.

They sold me guitar through reverb and never mentioned it was used or returned. After purchase I noticed in tiny little letters B-stock. Had no idea what this meant as I believe many don’t. Their real slick.

The cashiers don't wear masks and a lot of the drinks and candy they sell are expired. Don't go here unless you want COVID or a stomachache from expired food
