It’s a family owned business, very friendly and very accommodating. The only place during family week at UF that wasn’t way overpriced.Rooms: Rooms are older, but they were clean and fresh smelly

Checked in through the little glass window. The guy seemed nice. Just business. The room was moldy smelling. AC was turned off when I got there. This is Florida, do not turn the AC off when the room is not in use.Turned it on and opened the door for a while. it did help a little. The sink didn't drain. The toilet flushed slow, hold the handle down. The tub had dirty sticker residue left from a non slip mat. Oddly the drain didn't back up. The bed and pillows were nice. The room was pretty clean. New tiles in the bathroom area. Appears they are trying to keep up with maintenance. Also appears to be a monthly stay for locals. Plenty of people with no cars.No alarm clock. Tv worked. The sink did drain in the morning. So I'm guessing it slows during high usage times.I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to others. The AC unit is loud and the lights from the pool area light up the room even with the shades pulled. I slept very little and woke up hourly. If they get the mold/mildew issue resolved it would be so much nicer. The room was actually clean and the bed was nice.

Came here because hurricane Ian, the price was high but was just happy to find a room. I reserved the room for two days just in case we were unable to leave. Have to drive 4 hours to my ruined home to secure it, the hotel will not even give me a partial refund on the second day. Disappointing and frankly exploitative. They jacked up prices, talked me into multiple nights, and then wouldn't do anything to make it right. People are hurting from this storm, this company kicking them while they are down is not right .

It was a very decent room for the price but the location of the room wasn't a good spot had drugs being sold in the next room door slamming every few mins... Got no rest at all and that was the reason for even going thereRooms: They were clean and niceFood & drinks: In walking distance to McDonald's and checkers Publix plaza and right next door to the gate store

Never let a pastor room with you saying he's trying to be your friend when really he just wants attention and to kick you out if you don't want to give any attention to him.

Caught in a catch 22? My apartment was not ready? And l had no place to stay? By some precious miracle? Someone paid 6 days for thus room fir me? I will always be eternally grateful? But l will say the motel was in a safe location? And l was comfortable there? Important for a woman? A bit pricey perhaps? Like 90.00 a day? It is what it is?

This establishment is very low key. You’re really paying for convenience, especially if you’re in town for a football game. The staff are incredibly nice, friendly and accommodating. The room is simple with cable tv and a comfy bed. EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN. It is located by tons of restaurants. And 9 minutes from the stadium.

After Showing the Clerk the 5 Roaches that woke by crawling all over me and a heated 30 minute debate later, he graciously offered me $25 off my room. Which was subsequently declined. Unless you want to add to your insect collection. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clean rooms, affordable, polite and nice owner/employees, no bugs!!I looked at the reviews for all the other budget hotels in this area and they were all horrible ! The travelers inn isn't super fancy but it is clean and not sketchy. A great option when you need a cheap place to stay.Highly recommended and also I would def stay again in the future

Came to Gainesville for a VA appointment. Stayed with my husband. The lady asked about my dog. I said I would keep him in the car while I slept. I promised. She threatened to watch me on camera. I said go ahead. After entering a wet, mildewed room the woman called threatening me if I bring the dog in the room she will charge me $200. I said my dog is happily sleeping in my truck. Later that morning she called my husband at 9 am asking if my dog was in the room while I was with my truck at the VA with my dog. Then this woman sent housekeeping and a male Indian man her husband to threaten my husband because they thought the dog was in the room. Again the dog was at the VA with me. They then asked my partner where his dad was considering my partner is younger. My partner replied with that’s my husband and they responded with “huh, what”. At 11 am on the dot they banged on the door telling my husband to leave the room now or the cops would be called. Checkout was 11am. They quickly found when they entered no dog. I then pulled into the parking lot of literally two cars since they had no customers on a hurricane night when the city was filled to the brim with no vacancy and the Indian woman was standing in the middle of the pathway to peer into my truck for my dog. I had it out with the woman when I saw my partner half shocked and half upset he was harassed and stalked by these people. They are a bigot Indian couple who thinks it’s okay to rent to customers and stalk them over false pretenses. Nasty people.
