I rented a truck yesterday from the self service, and it was super easy,. I returned it last night and Sherry and Mike were amazing they helped me make sure everything was correct!!!The customer service was great and I would recommend if you ever have the need of renting don't hesitate to go to this location.3300 sw 42nd st Gainesville FL 32608Thankyouu again!!!!!!!

I made a reservation for mobile pick up at 9 AM. After having to speak to someone on the phone, because the app would not let me check in, I begun the check in process. I got to the step where I was given the lock box instructions. I followed the steps and upon opening the lockbox, I find no key left there for me. I then had to wait until the location opened at 9:30 AM. When I went into the office once they opened, the agent behind the desk was unfazed and unapologetic. He actually admitted they did that on purpose because they want to hand deliver the keys. My reservation was for 9AM. If I cannot retrieve my key for that time, why allow the reservation for that time? I get the keys, continue on with the checking in process and the furniture pads I had ordered with the reservation are nowhere to be found. I go back in the office and the representative who was clearly unconcerned informed me he doesn’t even think they have any. He then looked in a back room and handed me 3 furniture pads that he so happened to have (used). I paid for a dozen. I didn’t leave the location with the truck until 10. My reservation (once again) was at 9. I felt used and unappreciated as a customer. I was basically forced into a situation that I had no say in (because I was given different information during the online reservation process than what that location would allow) knowing full wel that it would be too late for me to be able to go anywhere else or cancel for a refund (the day of a move). I then went to drop the truck back off and the office was closed yet again! I called (for the third time) and was told someone would be reaching back to me to assist with my full refund request.

Kim was so friendly and accommodating. She handled our check-in pretty quickly and efficiently and made the experience very smooth. The 15’ truck itself was in a good condition, with a loading rail that made the load/unload easier. Overall, we had a great experience and I would 100% recommend renting from this location.

The store manager here is absolutely amazing made truck rental a breeze, is generally a likeable kind of guy. In this sort of Industry that is actually kind of hard to come by.

I scheduled a truck from here 3 weeks in advance. Less than 24 hours before I pick it up, I get a call from U-haul saying I have to pick it up on the Northwest side of town. This adds probably 30 minutes to my round-trip travel time, and they didn't automatically waive the mileage cost, I had to specifically ask for that. My rental was scheduled in advance: why can't you move trucks to where you know they need to be? Why make the customer do all the driving? If you're renting a U-haul for the low decks, sure, get them. If you're renting for location convenience, rent from someone else, because you never know exactly where the pickup will be.

I recently moved and looked three different places for a Uhaul close to Archer road. No one had the size truck I needed with the convenience of being close to Archer road until I went to a neighborhood Uhaul located at Gainesville self storage 6505 sw Archer Rd. The lady at the front named Jenni was extremely nice and got me into the Uhaul I needed. She told me everything I needed to know, showed me the milage, gas meter, and asked if I wanted insurance. She was a pleasure to be served by. She also made the process of returning the Uhaul easy and simple. I recommend anyone needing a Uhaul in the area to go see Jenni. She also greeted my son and asked him about his day in school like she genuinely cared. That is a nice quality to have these days. Thank you Jenni for your awesome customer service!!!?

They charged me for my move and then they charged me for the guys move who used the truck after me. They charged me twice but they worked to fix the issue pretty quickly

Tiffany and Jen helped me out tremendously. Super nice ladies, i was in and out in no time. Usually skeptical about renting from places that's not an actual U-haul but i would 100% deal with them every single time.

After a lot of run-around on where to find a truck during graduation and the annual run on trucks, Terri (sp?) was such a phenomenal help in regards to general demeanor, customer service skills, personability and collaborative. She called other locations on my behalf and made sure I had the best possible experience.

Tried to reserve a truck here over a month in advance. Without notice my reservation was moved to another location. Since they charge by the mile I was not interested in picking it up further away. Uhaul has bad customer service practices and I do not recommend them. I was able to reserve at Jack's in Alachua with no run around.
