I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, it was a nice welcoming feeling. One of the employees came up to me and when I told him what I was looking for, he basically turned into my personal assistant. Even though my needs seemed out of his realm of knowledge, he handed me off to a little girl that understood the assignment! It was a very good experience and I will be back! Thanks Ulta, it’s rare these days to have a good shopping experience where the employees seem to want to be there and have the ambition and knowledge needed.

I absolutely ❤️ this place . In a sea ⛵ of choices that can be quite overwhelming at times . Me and my Wife got the best customer service from your staff in Gainesville , Fl . Shout out to the team . Antoinette . Nicole and JJ made us feel welcomed , seen and heard . And made awesome suggestions for make up that we purchased . We are both very happy with our decisions . Great store and the staff is awesome. Julia was particularly wonderful and spent a great deal of time helping me with make up and finding the perfect shade. She took it very seriously and made me feel like she really cared about helping me look my best.

Daughter's makeup appointment was cancelled less than an hour before the appointment time by the store. The appointment was made weeks ago for her senior photos. It would've been nice to receive more notice so that another makeup artist could be booked elsewhere. This is highly unacceptable.

I went in there looking for a very light coverage foundation/skin tint. I don’t really wear make up so I had no idea how to find my shade, or what products were best. At the register a woman with dark hair and glasses got someone to help me find my perfect shade, she was so sweet. Then a woman named Kat helped me find exactly what i was looking for. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions!!

I posted this review a while ago. It has been deleted by the manager, Nicole, I’m sure, despite no response or means of reconciliation. I am wildly disappointed. Here is the review:
I used to really enjoy shopping at this Ulta, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning. There’s a new manager at this location, her name is Nicole, and she is the sole reason for my decision.
Since Nicole has joined the management team the atmosphere in the store has completely changed. I’ve witnessed her speak negatively about employees when they’re not around, on more than one occasion, while I was shopping. Nicole, if you’re going to belittle your team, maybe try not to do it within earshot of customers who actually respect them.
I’ve also noticed that several of the kind, helpful employees I used to look forward to seeing are suddenly gone. The store feels tense, empty, and off. On my last two visits, I saw staff visibly upset and one girl was even trying to hide tears while still helping other customers. When I asked if everything was okay, both quietly said it was a work-related issue they weren’t allowed to talk about.
I recently ran into one of the girls I used to see working at this Ulta and she confirmed to me that this manager was the issue. As a customer, I can tell that something is deeply wrong with how this location is being managed. If Ulta cares at all about their employees, they shouldn’t have a manager who makes employees cry on the floor, drives out long-time staff, and gossips in front of customers.
If any other ulta management are reading this, Nicole is not someone you want representing your store, or managing your employees.
