It was ok at first but I have a roommate that has cat that's not on her lease and it has fleas I bites on my legs and arms because of her. She has no clue what I was complaining about when we talked about. No one came to help remove the fleas and they made her believe she was going to get evicted somehow. There gym had broken tread mills, and the office doesn't take action about issues like fleas.

I lived here for nearly two years and had a great experience. Maintenance requests were addressed the next day, the management team was very supportive, and the location was convenient for commuting to the University or other places, thanks to multiple bus options. Additionally, having SNAP right across the road was very useful during late nights when buses were not running.

Been here for almost 2 years, it was a great experience. The administrative team and the maintenance team are second to none. Connectivity from here to UF was easy due to the availability of multiple bus options.

Management does not care for tenants and lures them in with fake promises about room accommodations. Too many people loitering at night makes you feel unsafe. Please go elsewhere!

do not recommend. my sister lives here & management has horrible communication unless they have a complaint for the resident.
her bathroom is NOT within health safe condition..mildew EVERYWHERE & has not been addressed
she does not feel safe here either. she is a single young women, who wanted to be independent for her college year but this is not the place for that.
convenient for student housing, price wise & location, but definitely not worth it for the lease term.
you get what you pay for.
side note - i work in property management, with the same name as this property (we are not affiliated with this property at all. entirely separate & different location) & we receive a ton of nasty calls from prospects & residents regarding this property.

An awesome place to live at. Has 5 bus routes running right next to it. Very close to campus as well. Southwest Rec is a 15 minute walk away

Parking is definitely not an issue, though I definitely recommend moving in with at least one person you know since you have to share a bathroom.

University Commons is a nice place. With rent rates getting higher and higher in Gainesville, the rates here are some of the best in the area. The staff is very kind and helpful, and maintenance typically responds fast. It’s occasionally a messy complex, and some of the people here can be rude/inconsiderate, but the place is a nice one with a very convenient location for anyone going to UF or working in this general area. The amenities are ok too.

Really competent apartment complex with great pricing rates and quality apartments and facilities. I've also had tons of fun in the social events at the clubhouse during festivities.

After moving to gainseville from Orlando, I needed a place to stay while I attend my studies.Pros: proximity to campus, gym and poolCons: staff don’t hold their end of the bargain unless it is written on paper. (I was promised a certain side on the 4 room layout and never got it), management is inconsiderate in that matter, my bike got stolen at night due to lack of security, and there are MANY people loitering at night, thin walls make your hear everything your neighbor is doing, old buildings that had black residue on the bathroom fans as soon as we moved in which could have been mold.Would I live there again? Absolutely not, I do not believe it was worth the experience. I would pay an extra amount each month and live elsewhere which is what I did and don’t regret it in the slightest.

Lights in common area were out since start of semester and after telling them, they were only replaced at the end of semester. Ceiling drips water during rain, same thing nothing done. The house was dirty and oven damn dirty when I moved in. The worst part is the paper thin walls and ceiling, the crackling and stomping sound from above can be heard clearly and the tremor from the movement reverberate through the ceiling light and disturbs sleep.
