I have used this post office at least once a week for the last 2 or 3 years. Ms. Kenya has been there to almost every single time I was there. She has always been extremely helpful going above and beyond at times. Always very friendly, and always greeted me with a smile.

This USPS contract station is very convenient if you work at UF, especially near Shands hospital. I'd even recommend it to Gainesville residents in general as it has been the best USPS experience I've ever had by a longshot. It's located on the ground floor of the dental science building (just follow the grey signs posted on the ground floor). There are boxes/envelopes, tape and markers/pens, as well as signs for the predetermined amount to ship. If you bring your own box they will accept that as well. I'm glad I gave it a chance as the conveninence and service is phenomenol, especially super helpful Kenya. While you can only pay by cash or check (as they don't take card, and State ID required for checks) and the hours are perhaps more limited than other USPS locations, this is still my first choice for sending out packages.

This USPS Contract Station is located inside of the hospital. You'll enter the hospital on the 1st floor & then, take the elevator down to the ground level 👇🏼
Look to your right when exiting the elevator & follow the signs to the Post Office.
FYI, they only accept Cash.

This USPS location is very convenient as I work at the hospital where it is located on the ground floor. Kenya is ALWAYS extremely helpful whenever I need to mail a package and makes sure I receive the best rate!

I’m so glad this postal service is on campus! The staff was very nice. The store is located in the ground floor of Shands. I got there from the elevators that are next the the food court. Just follow the black signs in the ground floor and you’ll be able to find it. 5/5
