I dislike how they've chosen to "update" the place around their convenience and not the consumers'. it's very inconvenient for consumers.

Had no Robles at this Greyhound station. Had time to walk around leisurely and catch my bus on time. Also rekindled a little Jr High School Spanish. Iol still need a lot of practice. ?

Put some lights & cameras up for everyone's safety and well-being please! This location is closed for customers awaiting for the bus to arrive 75% of the time. It's dark early morning or afternoon and dangerous, there's no security and no cameras in sight. This is a college town with numerous students traveling greyhound daily. Why not be more cautious about security at this location specifically please?

If I could give 0 stars that's what I would do. Greyhounds customer service is absolutely terrible. I was told my bus was delayed so I left and came back before my delayed time I was then told my bust was going to take 2 hours to puck me up so I waited for 2 hours in the heat. I called them again after waiting this time just to be told that the bus showed up and left before the departure time. I'm not sure why they think its ok to tell there customers a time of departure then depart before that time. I have been in contact with customer service over the past 5 days and nobody is willing to do anything for me. This is my first experience with greyhound and will probably be my last if I'm not refunded/ or given my money back in store credit.

A lot of back and forth. Cost another day of expenses, miss communication from sales department with the ticket and time. The parking lot has gone way down (needs work done pot holes all over) it's not like it use to be 3 or 4 years ago in Gainesville Florida.

I'm actively still on the bus as we speak. First of all there's no refund policy. In fact, there's nothing, just vouchers. Second, the driver I had this morning on the first bus (even though I paid for NO connecting bus, I got a connecting bus, more on that), was a bit rude to some of the passengers. I will and the whole bus of passengers will be looking for a PARTIAL refund for the lack of courtesy, connecting busses on a trip that shouldn't have required this as I paid for such, and oh yea, they put an elderly lady on a lift that SHORTED, and that's the bus I'm on right now. An electrically messed up bus. The better part? Greyhound admitted to me they don't own this fleet of bus and rent it.I will find an alternate way home rather than greyhound, even if it means renting a car. Worth it more than this behavior and electrically fault busses. The misfire is the tipping point for my PTSD.

Greyhound is a fine service but you need to have your expectations clear. A lot of the bad reviews seem like they are from those who have unrealistic expectations of what Greyhound is.1. Greyhound buses are frequently late. Do not plan your bus trip without a few hours buffer for regional day trips or 12-24 hours buffer for overnight long-distance trips.2. Expect to sit next to a homeless person or ex-convict who was just released from prison. Both frequently patron the Greyhound bus. Prisons contract with Greyhound to send released inmates home.3. If you miss your connection, Greyhound/Flixbus will re-route you to the next available bus free of charge. This happened to me plenty of times.4. You are guaranteed by Greyhound/Flixbus to be transported from the origin to the destination. You are not guaranteed a particular bus or a particular schedule. Period.5. Use your street smarts and your head. Greyhound and Flixbus are frequently in the bad part of town. You will be fine unless you flash a $100 bill out in the open.6. Greyhound (and public transit in general) tend to employ grumpy employees. Do not expect five star customer service.7. A lot of the drivers are sleep deprived because they periodically have to shift from day runs to night runs, sometimes without notice. Frankly you will be safer with the sleep deprived Greyhound drivers than your own car because the Greyhound drivers do it for a living and prohibited from using cell phones while driving. And the bus is huge so will win in an accident against a car. It might seem scary to the average Joe but I've grown used to it.8. The only time I felt unsafe on a Greyhound was when there was a driver who was clearly new and clearly told last minute to do a night run. She seemed half asleep and was also texting and playing games on her phone (in violation of federal law). The bus started to swerve. I was almost going to force her to pull over and call the cops but we were pretty close to my final dest. so I let it go. THIS IS THE EXCEPTION NOT THE RULE. I NEVER SAW A DRIVER USE HER PHONE WHILE DRIVING BESIDES THIS ONE. ON ANY TRANSIT SYSTEM (I don't drive so regularly ride transit).

By far one of the worst traveling experiences I have ever had. The bus drivers are all very terse with their speech. Greyhound staff does not prioritize customer service or professionalism. The facilities were deplorable. There were staff members on the clock actively seated not working. When customers would engage Greyhound staff with questions they were visibly annoyed. At this point Greyhound should just close all of their stations and merge with Flix Bus or Mega Bus

Online it said it was open (10:30pm) NOT!! Absolutely NO lighting whatsoever!! Just a dark old building! Horrendous holes coming in and leaving! Not a welcoming place, not a safe place. I was just dropping off a friend who was a grown man and I wouldn't leave him there alone with a couple of young people hanging around. It was not a place for young girls or kids to be waiting for a bus. I don't ever remember Greyhound Bus stations being so dark, unsafe and uncomfortable. Shame on you

This is closed greyhound station. I use it to drop off HS kid for Amtrak ride. Sketchy area and dark at night. I emailed Amtrak about the location and if they can move people from Jacksonville to Lake City instead of Gainesville for security reason last year. They replied but NO ACTION. I came back this month, the place is worst. It has a pond now in the middle of parking lot and the bus just stop on the road to load and unload. So if you choose this stop, DO NOT ATTEMPT to drive in their parking especially if you do not have all wheel drive.

This is the first time I traveled by bus with Greyhound from Orlando to Gainesville. The Gainesville station is dirty and not well maintained. Also, the bus was an hour delayed. Thankfully, I wasn't in a rush so there wasn't an issue. The MAJOR problem was waiting for the bus the NEVER arrived going from Orlando to Gainesville. Originally, the bus was scheduled to leave at 11:50am. So, I got there 30 minutes early (around 11:20am). Later, I receive an email from Greyhound saying that there is an hour delay. (I was in no rush, so no issue) However, I did need to arrive to Gainesville the same day. Additionally, the website said that the bus will now arrive at 1:01pm yet it never did. It was now 1:30pm and everyone started to wonder where to bus is. I also wanted to mention that the workers were EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. Customer service was also unhelpful. It seems like the only people they hire have the mental capacity of a Troglodyte. At this point it was already 2:30pm (160min delay) and no bus that is going to Gainesville is in sight. Leaving me and 5 other people stranded. In the end, between the 6 of us we had to order a Lyft that was a cost of about 200 dollars. Upon my arrival to Gainesville via Lyft. I contacted customer support to request a refund since the bus NEVER arrived AND on their website it says: "If your bus was delayed by 120 minutes or more on departure, you can request a refund for the price of the ticket. Contact us and fill out the request. Our agents will review your case and get back to you as soon as possible." (As quoted from their website) Here's the link: greyhound.com/help-and-i…They responded after 4 DAYS, just to tell me my ticket was nonrefundable. NEVER booking with Greyhound again. I would highly suggest looking for a different form of transportation because this service and the staff are utterly useless.
