MOLD problem. All of my coworkers and I were getting sick because the rooms were extremely humid and smelled like mold. I got my room changed and it helped alittle, but then this last night I stayed, it was hard to sleep again and was getting a stuffy nose. Everything would've been fine if this major issue wasn't a problem. But considering people can die from mold, I have to leave 1 Star.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and this was by far the worst experience I've ever encountered. We paid for late checkout for the first time the worst! Housekeeping kept disturbing us so I put the sign up and someone removed it. Then they attempted to enter the room without knocking and had the latch not been placed on the door we would have been exposed. Managers and staff really didn't care.

These rooms are so outdated it's not even funny. It's 2020 and there are no USB ports and just a couple of outlets. The bathroom definitely needs a remodel as well as the tub looks to be at least 20 years old. I've stayed at mid level holiday inns better than this place. For the price of this room it deserves much more.

I have to say what a disappointment it was today at the hotel . First the men's room had strong odor of urine and even when housekeeping cleaned, if you want to call wiping down only the sink and spraying something to mask the urine odor cleaning, the restroom stalls remained dirty. In fact when in there at 0830 it was nasty and remained the same when in there at 1500, the same "residue" was on the commode. Lunch buffet was not well thought out in that they ran out of so much and the only thing I tried was the potatoe salad . Overloaded with mustard and onion , it was not good at all. There were 8 of us at the table, no one ate theirs for the same reason. The water available outside the meeting room was cold but came straight from the Faucet with no filter system. The strong chemical taste to Jacksonville's water system was extremely prevalent. Overall I was disappointed in how much the quality of this hotel has declined.

I had high hopes for this hotel, but was unfortunately left disappointed. The hotel is downtown, and is in a rather run down area with a large transient population. I wouldn't have felt comfortable walking alone at night. The hotel itself has a musty, older smell if you know what I mean. It just smelled... odd, including the rooms. Now, the rooms. There is no refrigerator, no microwave. The beds are horribly soft. Remember when you were little and you would sleep on a trampoline with your friends, and by morning you were all huddled in a heap in the middle? That's what these beds are like. Trampoline beds. Pros are that the water heats up instantly, the staff is phenomenal, and if you're going to an event downtown, I'm sure the location would work for you. Unfortunately, the staff alone won't be enough for me to stay again. Needs some renovating for sure.

From the front desk staff upon arrival, to the restaurant staff (brunch which was delicious to late dinner) to housekeeping to the front desk when we left, everyone was exceptional! Friendly helpful and knowledgeable! The hotel was very clean and the room very comfortable! Would definitely stay here next time in Jacksonville!

Location is the only thing going for this hotel. Tha bed cover and walls are dirty and stained. The restaurant is ok and it doesn't have bad odors. All I can say good about it.

So mad about this hotel and the misleading room they gave us! When we got the room I came back down to reception and told them there must some mistake because this room only has a view if you go to the window and turn your head all the way to the right as far as you can turn almost breaking it to see a bridge. YES A BRIDGE!! And they still have the audacity to ask what do YOU want to see me to do this is our best full river view which is BARELY A semi-PARTIAL !!?? Ugh I'm so beyond upset because THEY LIE and mislead you!! I HAVE OTHER OPTIONS, IF YOUR ROOM IS A SEMI-PARTIAL VIEW THAN I WILL MAKE THAT DECISION FOR MYSELF IF I WANT TO PROCEED OR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SEND MY NIGHT! Not cool very disappointed.

This Omni is located very close to the river, which is why we chose this location. We were totally disappointed to find that they were tearing down the Riverwalk area, which meant no dining along the river. The hotel itself is nice. Check in was quick and our room was spacious and clean. There was some hallway noise, but overall sleeping was good. Water pressure was good and towels were fluffy. Turns out the location isn't great if you are here to scope out the City. This is more the financial section. We did eventually find some restaurants only 5-6 blocks away. We felt safe walking as there is nobody around on the streets.

We are in town for wedding and rented two rooms. The A/C doesn't work well. Tub wouldn't drain. Toilet barely flushed. Telephone in one of the rooms didn't work at all. Had two double beds and both mattresses were so unevenly worn that they noticeably slanted to one side. Not a good experience overall. Staff was very nice though, especially the housekeeping staff.

******DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING HERE ****** The Omni has a 90 day pick up policy for lost items, I lived in Pensacola and came for house hunting leave and my husband left his shoes, I went in today to pick them up and was told they did not have them but they would have housekeeping look some more. Overall wonderful stay but I can't give the rating I want because CLEARLY they have untrustworthy staff in housekeeping. Won't stay here again (Atleast not in the US) sad to say you get better more honest service overseas with this chain.

If you are at the Omni Hotel go to the bar and see Evan. Have him make you a "spiked communion." He was attentive to his customers and knew the menu very well. Highly recommend!

Stayed a week at the Omni Hotel in Jacksonville Florida. The hotel itself was nice however lobby area could definitely use new furniture or a thorough cleaning of the current furniture. On both sides of Lobby, the furniture either was dirty had stains or showed wear. I gave the hotel a rating of 4 because of the cleanliness aspect and the fact that I had to constantly every day call housekeeping to request my room to be cleaned. All of the staff seem very friendly and personable. The restaurant's food was very tasty. I do caution anyone who has an oversized vehicle that you may need to think about parking. We had to park on the hotel restaurant side in an open City lot in order to accommodate our oversized truck and trailer. For average sized Vehicles there is plenty of parking, a garage as well as an open lot in front of the hotel.

This hotel is ok if you are looking for great location and a ok price for that location. A few things I didn't like. The elevator had a awful smell when we arrived. Maybe dog pee on it. The kitchen was closed before 1:30 even that it says that is open until 2. Overall service was good. I'm not sure if I'm staying there again unless Hyatt doesn't have a room.

Inside of the hotel looks like a "nicer" hilton or other chain hotel. The staff were all super friendly. We enjoyed the J bar. Overall, not a bad place to stay but don't expect anything too fancy.
