“This is a Gibsonton favorite. Including hometown bar, great food and this is where my husband cashes his payroll check. This is something they offer that a lot of people don't know about. So go get your check cashed there.”

I figured this place would have a fun selection and high prices like other boutique wine shops. It doesn’t.
It has a really amazing selection of many of my existing favorites from Napa plus a lot of great wines to discover. It has a very knowable staff with great recommendations.
Surprisingly it also has the best prices. Better than total wine, ABC, Costco, etc. some great labels, like Duckhorn, you are getting at or below wine club pricing without joining any wine clubs!
The events are fantastic too. Reasonably priced, really cool discoveries, and include catering by Pane Rustica next door.
I used to live near Napa and this finally comes close to bringing some of that experience (minus the beautiful vineyards) to Florida.

“Best prices in the hood but why do they have tip jars? I don't see any other store clerks asking for tips for literally ringing your PURCHASE up.. . Crazy that they're even allowed to have them on the counter.”
“We came in and saw the XXL wine at the front entrance on display for sampling. Since an associate wasn't there we went to the customer service desk and asked for a sample.Nick the manager happily helped us. He easily explained the flavors and answered our questions with great customer service. We actually purchased a bottle. While checking us out Corey was awesome as well and he gave us a similar recommendation to XXL that he tried and he shared his satisfaction so we went back to find his recommendation and purchased another bottle. Our shopping experience was great and these guys deserve recognition!”

“JAMES spent time with me today explaining the various alcoholic offerings, various flavors, and multiple number of years required in several preparations, especially the whiskeys and bourbons. The previous day Tampa celebrated the Gasparilla pirate invasion parade and I would have expected the stock to be low, but not so. Many of the products, including rums, gins, whiskeys and bourbons were on sale.
The store offers robust array of packaged liquors and chilled beers. Several one serving bottles sat in bins by the check out, including Fireball for $1.00- $1.98, relatively bargains

“I went looking for a specific Italian rose they carry but they were out. The nice gentleman made other recommendations and didn’t flinch when I chose the most inexpensive— which turned out to be a great rose and a new favorite! (Olema Cotes de Provence 2022)”
“Came in during that mad rush for the billion dollar lottery ticket. Instead of getting my lottery tickets in the Publix grocery I was told to go next door the their liquor store. There was no line so that meant no waiting.”
“One of the better grocery shopping experiences is when I go to Winn-Dixie! I love their app and weekly advertisements I use to know what items are on sale. The app also shows me my daily savings toward my next shop or gas savings at the pump. Last week we spent $158 at the register. The best surprise was to see that we had a $24 saving due to the apps savings that went toward our receipt,,, lowering it to $134!!!!! . Now that was true savings! Thank you for having mystery points added to my app. Our families budget appreciates it !!!!!”
“This grocery store is THE BEST in Tampa. While I want to keep this a secret, I would be doing all the folks in Tampa a huge disservice. The store is big, clean and organized. The hot bar is delish. It has a large parking lot. And, the staff is so incredibly friendly. And for those who are jewish or enjoy Kosher food, I found the Kosher section to be the biggest I've ever seen at a non-kosher supermarket. Let me circle the block on the hot bar. It's a small selection, but it's really good and they seem to change it out regularly. The fried chicken and sushi are always fresh and delish. The produce is always great. I always get sweet fruit from here and crisp veggies. Although this location is far from my house, I make the trek across town for all of my grocery shopping.”

“Whoever thinks they can get Blanton’s for $60 is getting ripped off somewhere. And every small liquor store has to make their money off of top shelf liquors. If anyone took the time to talk to these shop owners, they’d know that. Also, it isn’t price gouging when the distilleries are charging more because of supply issues. This hits the small business owners the hardest. One star reviews for higher prices shouldn’t even be allowed on here. “I spent way too much money here and all I got was a hangover. Them liquors will get you drunk and fast. My friends day I turned into another person and did some wild things. I'd blame the liquor but that was before I drank. After I drank, I was a blithering idiot and puked everywhere. Also, I'm pretty sure the alcohols is ruining my health, but gosh doesn't it feel good to die early as long as I have a few blurry memories of good times. That's much better than a life well lived in sobriety. Maybe I need counseling.”

“So forgive me but this is the lazy man's way of shopping for a cold drink on the go not a bad idea if it's raining either so this is a frequent spot for me. One piece of advice know exactly what you want you don't actually get out of your vehicle you literally drive through it like a car wash and tell them what you're looking for. I also like that the load anything big or heavy in my vehicle while I wait. Really friendly owner here it's pretty much the only guy.”
