Hitchcock's Market is an old-school supermarket that provides a convenient and necessary option for fresh food, especially in areas with few alternatives. It is a small hometown grocery store that gives a nostalgic, hometown feel and is generally clean and well-organized. The store is open late-ish, which is appreciated. Reviews note it can be a bit expensive, with some instances of high prices or price gouging on specific items, though it also has good prices on meat and produce. A significant and repeated concern is the need to carefully check expiration dates on prepackaged food, deli items, and dairy, as outdated products are sometimes found on the shelves. The hot food, like fried chicken, has received mixed reviews, but other items like tenders, ribs, coleslaw, and potato salad are considered outstanding. While it may not compare to larger chains, for what it is, it's a pretty good and decent store.
Good prices on meat and produce but always have to check behind them. On produce they advertise one price but when you get to the register it's higher.

Would give it 5 stares but the prices are higher than Publix 30 minutes away.

For a small home town grocery store , they do a decent job. It ain't no Publix, but it's better than Winn Dixxie. Lol
