“I drove 2 hours from the Gulf Coast and found a sign on the front door that they were no longer accepting book repairs. And on the window to the left was another sign that they would return in 2 hours. I didn't have time to wait until they reopened to discuss repairing my book that I had brought from such a long distance. So I went away saddened to find something to eat because I was hungry.

After eating my meal, I decided to take a chance in calling the office in case someone was inside. The call went to voicemail and since it wouldn't cost me anything more than what I had already spent to arrive I decided to leave a message and explain my situation. The owner, Anthony, interrupted the message and invited me back to his shop.

When I came back he listened to my story and accepted repairing my book even though he was already extremely busy. He gave me a tour of his workshop and then he prayed for me. I cried later that night, because God saw my situation and Anthony was a demonstration of God's grace and love. He took time from his busy schedule to listen to me and share his passion in book binding.

I am so blessed, my book that I asked Anthony to repair is because of my dog, Shasta whom I had since she was a puppy, had passed on after 14 years and I had named her after the little boy from the book I asked Anthony to repair. I read it every year, now I will have it in hardback from a true brother of the precious faith. What a blessing 🙏🏿
