“Nice motel. Obviously an old place that has been fixed up nicely. Rooms are updated and comfortable. King bed is comfy and decent bedding. Bathroom is a bit small but adequate. Uses a window-style AC unit (in the wall) to cool room - when we checked in the AC was off so the room was 100 degrees. Cooled down after an hour or so.
No pool.
Has a picnic area / corn-hole recreation area in center of grounds. (Probably used to be a pool there!)
Location is convenient to downtown (recommend the Great Outdoors - try the Banana Pudding Martini!) as well as the surrounding springs (Ginnie, Ichetucknee, Poe, Kirby etc).
Room rate was a bit steep for a motel as I paid about $150-160 per night + taxes.
Overall, kind of kitschy - love the old park in front of your room motel thing. Quiet, comfortable - not a bad choice if visiting the High Springs area.”

“We had an awesome experience at this Holiday Inn Express. Our Suite was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast was good with a nice variety. We had a great stay. Thank you! Highly recommended!”
“This hotel was great from arrival to departure. Any staff member I encountered was nice. Location was very easy and good parking. If you were hungry or just wanted a snack you could walk next door to a dairy queen grill and chill.”
“My family and I had a fantastic 3 day, 2 night stay here. EVERYONE was so kind and accommodating. Shout out to Zach Leopold, Vanessa Honorat and Joshua Wessels (among others) for making sure our stay was comfortable and fun. The pool & hot tub were clean and the perfect temperature. Our room was clean and comfortable and cutely decorated. Additionally, I should add that the attached restaurant was great and Rob made sure we were well taken care of there so I recommended stopping by there as well.”
“I have to say a 5 star stay. Not because of the niceness of the hotel its self, but because of the staff and atmosphere they have. It has been quite Pleasant. The staff is more than helpful which is a nice change. It’s very affordable when traveling with two littles. So I appreciate the smiling faces in the morning. It’s an older motel and has its issues, but if you’re looking for an affordable stay then I’d highly recommend. Far enough from the big town of Gainesville that there isn't a lot of loud guests, besides my children. It was nice to come back after a long day and just relax. Our room was freshly painted and had no unexpected visitors. all together we had a very pleasant stay.”
