Caribbean Resort by the Ocean is an amazing place for a getaway, located extremely close to the beach and Hollywood Boardwalk, literally just a couple of steps away. It is right on the beach with great walkability to restaurants, shops, a delicious ice cream shop, and a pizza place with great pizza. The location is perfect. The resort is more of an inn or motel. Rooms are very nice, clean, and cool, with comfortable beds and pillows. They include a little kitchen or kitchenette with enough dishes, and bathrooms are a nice size and very clean with good water pressure. The property has a tiki bar with great drinks and wings. Not all guests have access to the pool. The staff is super accommodating and very pleasant, with a friendly bartender and a manager who is helpful. However, some guests reported issues with a deposit refund not being returned and communication problems where the phone is not picked up. The resort is showing its age, and some minor dislikes included a weak fan and TV issues. On very busy holidays like the 4th of July, parking can be agitating as cars can get locked in. Overall, many guests had an amazing time, find it great for the price, and would definitely stay here again.
Just steps to the beach. This an older hotel but room was very clean. Great water pressure in shower. Service was fantastic. Loved that it had coffee shops and restaurants/ shops in just 1 minute walk. I would definitely stay there again

I checked in yesterday on Xmas and we had no ac or soap. I mentioned it to the owner and he gave us pool access and also made me a promise he’d discount next year when we come back.
