Zero customer service! I had a problem with my rental and stopped for an exchange. She said do you have your keys? She said, "call THAT number we can't help you we don't have any cars."I'm sitting here on the phone on hold watching them and they do have cars! It's the cold unprofessional demeanor that does it for me.

Since I can't give a zero star. We made arrangements to pick a car on Sunday at 11AM. At 1050, on the day, they called us to tell us that they didn't have any cars available. I am looking at options to sue them for unprofessionalism, negligence, and loss of business. I will not recommend this place to anyone. This budget sucks.

The car was dirty. A sign showed up to $450 cleaning charges, but we had a muddy floor and a mask in the back. It's no big deal, but that was specifically mentioned on the cleaning notice. And, the quoted price of $34 jumped to just over $50 after additional charges, including charging $27 while waiting for 1 agent to get to us. Part of the additional fees we're returned. Cheaper than Enterprise

I would not use this Budget location, this one is located right on US 1 South Dixie Hwy. I do not recommend it.I reserved a moving truck on 8/3 for a pick up of 8/27. Had I not checked today, I would have shown up tomorrow morning for them to tell me there is no truck for me.Apparently, from what I was told, that it states in the Terms and Conditions that a truck may not be available. So even though it is reserved in advance that it means that it’s NOT guaranteed. Maybe this goes for all truck rentals, but to not be told of this or for the location to not inform me themselves, is poor business ethics.Also, when I call this location it rings then transfers to the National Budget line. When the National line transfers me to this location directly it goes back to the National line. I called this location out for not answering their phone here.I was also passed around from employee to employee, each telling me that Leon “Paco” the owner would be in and he was never there, nor did he answer his phone when his employee called him.I ended up calling Uhaul’s 800# and they transferred me to a uhaul location that had the truck I was looking for.So beware that even though you make a truck rental reservation, in advance even, that it is NOT guaranteed. And if you do use this location and bless you if do, check up ahead of time because they will not inform you if they won’t end up having it.Again, I will NOT come back.

The man there is horrible.. Never honors his reservations. Rude to African American women only.. Very aggressive with the customers.

This place is a joke do not ever rent a car from here or attempt to, if you pre rented a car you'll most likely never get it and budget will make you pay more if they don't have your car to rent a different one

So dissatisfied and disappointed.They didn't tell me they were going to hold a charge of $200 when I went to pick up the reservation.Which it over drafted my bank account.Then the car they brought out to me was not even clean. Had beer bottle caps and crumbs of food all over the car, the car had dents as well as if it was in accidents. They take the car back to so call clean it and they didn't do anything at all. You can tell it was still dirty. No other choice I leave with vehicle when I turn on the car again an oil change is required cane on. I call the location and the guy working tells me not to worry, that it's normal. Mind you I'm needing to do a road trip and I'm renting a car where you're paying over $500 to drive something that's in good safe conditions. I call customer service expalin the situation they tell me to take it to the miami international Airport location and when I get there manager is nowhere to be found. 1st he will be seeing me in 5 min, and that turned into he will be 30 mins more after waiting 20 mins. And at the end no one was able to help me. Very disappointed with budget

Reserved a car online, waited 45 minutes in line to be told we couldn’t rent one. I am 19 but online it allowed me to reserve one. Not pleased with the customer service.

The people at this location go above and beyond every time i rent from there. I've seen thy manager let the others leave early on holidays and he does every thing himself including cleaning the cars and getting them out quick as possible.. I've been there in a few occasions where people were extremely rude to them, and they handled themselves with patience and professionalism.. because of their first class treatment i don't rent from any other location

I reserve a car, I go to pick it up. They tell me they haven’t got any cars. When I asked the clerk when they might be getting some, she told me she didn’t know. She was rude. She was completely unprofessional, she didn’t say hello when people walked in the door. My experience with enterprise, however and hertz was excellent. Definitely do not reserve a car to budget Rent-A-Car in Homestead.

DO NOT RENT HERE! I reserved a van for a family trip 3 weeks before the needed date (without previously seeing the reviews) and when I arrived there, I was told they did not have any available vehicles. After asking for an explanation since we had already been charged the woman told us that she was calling everyone with a reservation for that day to advise them and stated she had already called us. Mind you, they were calling on the SAME DAY, it was only 10 AM and we had no missed calls or voice mail messages. She also advised us that "they can't charge you until you have the car. " Which was not accurate because after checking our statements we had been indeed charged. Luckily, after calling the customer service we were able to receive a refund.

The customer service is worst than horrible . The lady at the front desk obviously customer service isn’t her strong point . In addition she makes up her own rules by saying that you can ONLY use water bill to rent the car this being a rule she made up .I called budget and spoke to them they told me I was able to use a cellphone bill and helped me out tremendously.

If I had the option to give these people zero stars I would!!! To cancel your reservation they charge $150.00!!!!! That’s RIDICULOUS and really messed up taking advantage of people like that!!!! I hope nobody rents from these people!
