“Friendly and caring staff. We had to put our old doggy out of misery, she developed Cushing's Disease and there isn't a cure. After a year of living with it and a lot of medicine - she was just struggling too much. You know you have a great Veterinarian when they cry right along with your family as you say your last goodbyes. A great Veterinarian Clinic!”

“Everyone at Countryside has been wonderful, from the front desk, to the vet techs, to the doctors! They've taken such excellent care of all my pets, they're very thorough, up-front about costs during our visits, and overall just create such a comforting and caring atmosphere. If you're the type of person who treats your pets like they were your own children, this is definitely the clinic I would recommend!”

“Everyone there from the staff to the doctors are so nice, they listen carefully about your concerns with for us our Yorkie. Explain what they find and what to expect. They make a stressful situation at times better, and for normal visits, cared for.”

“Very good to the animals. Don't be in a hurry because they do their best but are busy and a little unorganized at times but they are working hard for the health of your pet or pet's.”

“First time meeting Dr. Hendrix today and what a pleasure. Loved him. He displayed a total interest in our girl. He gave her a thorough exam and more importantly, gave us direction on how we could improve her life. Thanks Dr. Hendrix.”

“My friend brought her young, very sick female dog to Humanitarian last week. Her dog (a sweet pit mix) had pyometra, which can be fatal if not treated immediately. When she arrived, she met Angela, a front office worker, who took immediate interest in the dog and realized she needed urgent care. After the vet examination, it was determined that, without immediate surgery the dog would die.My friend has no job and no money so she asked me to help with the payment. Angela and the staff worked hard to bring the cost down. We were able to cover the cost of the surgery to keep the dog alive. At another vet the cost would have been triple. Angela and the staff were so caring and so kind, only concerned to help the dog stay alive by providing the needed surgery immediately. The dog is doing beautifully and will live a healthy life thanks to the expertise, commitment and caring for the pets of lower income pet owners that Humanitarian provides. WE are so blessed to have them in our community. Thank you to all the staff at Humanitarians of Florida in Crystal River.”

“Love the rule of 1 patient in the lobby at a time and the separate waiting rooms. It's nice to see animals play together but it's nicer to ensure the safety of the patients and clients. Clean and calming environment.”

“Rex has been undergoing chiropractor, adjustments for his back. With the exercises I was given, Rex is doing much better and is walk a little on his own. At least this way Rex doesn't have to have surgery on his back which I could not afford.”

“Rex, my fourteen-year-old dashound, jumped off my chair instead of going down the steps and hurt his back. I called my vet, Trish, at the Healing place and her staff suggested that I take Rex to Plantation animal for an X-ray, the vet and staff were very kind they took very good care of Rex. The vet prescribed three medications and sent all the information to my vet.”

“They were there when I needed them to put down my 17-year-old terrier-chihuahua on a Saturday evening. Sweet and caring people overall. I do wish that they didn't take him out of my arms and into a back room to insert the catheter. He was already in pain and that caused him more stress and pain . Why the catheter thing at all ? In my opinion it should be one or two injections and done. Maybe that's just how things are done these days but I feel like it's to charge more, not in the animals best interest.”
