“This Publix has a fantastic produce manager! The fresh and organic vegetables always look crisp and colorful! The shallots are larger than usually found at other publix, and the display areas are always free of any non appealing or overripe produce! Everyone is so friendly and smiling. “Finally.A.Pub.Sub. This place has been on my radar for a sub for over a year now. Their chicken finger sub is their specialty but they make all their subs with fresh Boars Head deli meat (by request!). I had the chicken finger sub/buffalo style. It did not disappoint; It was actually fabulous and my favorite meal on this trip. It definitely lived up to the hype and you absolutely cannot beat the $7 price tag. If you haven't tried one; You're Welcome.”

“A neat store with some produce, honey, and lots of trinkets (shells, stuffed animals, etc).I thought the prices for citrus fruit was quite high considering that's their specialty, but they had some interesting flavoured honey which may be worth the price.The prices for the aforementioned "trinkets" were reasonable.If you're in the area don't forget to make a stop at the George C McGough Nature Park right behind this place! Now that definitely is worth the visit!”

“I’ve had a couple of Pizzas from Surfside in the last couple of weeks. The pizzas taste great, the crust is not too thick or too thin, just the right thickness in my opinion. There were lots of ingredients and the sauce was good. The staff were very friendly (I ate one pizza in). This will be my go to pizza in Largo. For a new place, they go it right from the start.”

“This is the best Publix between Dunedin, Largo, Clearwater and St Pete. I’ve been to over 25 Publix in the last 13 years and this is by far the friendliest staff and the best service.I love the meat and fish department staff. They are incredible and they always are very honest and extremely helpful. They work very hard to try to bring in fresh produce every single day.The deli department I don’t deal with as much, but a few encounters I have had have been extremely helpful and very service oriented.The Produce team is also amazing and they will always go in the back to search for something. If you can’t find it out on the shelves, I would say that I go to five different organic stores and Publix consistently has the best organic produce.I recently got my daughter, a birthday cake from the bakery shaped like a cat face made out of cupcakes and it did not disappoint. They literally made a four-year-old girls birthday very memorable and they did it overnight!”
“Food stuffs galore! Fresh, frozen, boxed, canned, hot and cold. Clean store with large aisles for exploring choices, easy navigation. Many cashiers, including self checkout. Good size parking lot, always buzy!”
“I just happen to drive by this place last weekend. Today I made a point to go there to check it out. The prime rib roast that I normally pay $20/lb at the supermarkets is $9.49/lb. there all the time. The owner, Julio, brought out a roast from the back to show me. He said he can custom cut to any size. They have a huge selection of spices, various meats, restaurant cooking supplies, etc. He and his wife are very pleasant and accommodating. I bought some boneless chicken breasts and spices for now, but I will definitely be back.”

“I see all these customer complaints on here obviously these people have never worked in retail before. All these entitled customers need to chill and show appreciation to employees there instead of complaining about little things, but then they complain when stores are short of help cause people don't want apply for jobs dealing with rude customers. I can't wait till this Publix converts to self checkouts like many of your other stores and piss these needy people off even more cause paybacks are a B! Hang in there Publix Employees u guys are doing an awesome job it's just theses needy entitled rude customers that need to be put in their place!”
“I love coming here! The prices are very affordable and everyone that works there is so very kind! In response to some of the not cool reviews— when you go to a big box store (one of the reasons) you are paying an extra cost because each piece of produce is almost always in pristine condition. And those not pristine get thrown in the garbage at those places creating food waste. Veggies and fruit don’t need to be pristine to be eaten. There are very FEW local produce markets— so please shop local and pour into your community. And it’s wonderful because the meat marketing is right next door!! One stop shop for all your eatin’ needs!”

“Winn Dixie on Madeira Beach is always consistent. Items you usually buy there continue to be stocked. They have much better pricing than Publix. In fact, when my wife and I go shopping there to stock up on commodity items, we usually save $50 to $60 vs. Publix ON JUST ONE visit. Over the course of a year, we probably save about $1,000 vs. shopping at Publix, and I would rather spend that $1,000 out for dinners.”

That was biggest lunch portion I've ever seen for such a low price. Everything was good from the service to food. If I'm ever back in Clearwater I will be back!!!”
“My go-to neighborhood Mexican restaurant when I'm looking for traditional food. The chili rellenos are my fav and their super spicy salsas are delish (request in addition to the salsa they bring with chips). Service is always prompt and friendly. They've done some improvements over the years on inside to improve the ambiance that have made it a place you don't just order to-go.”

“It's a convience store - close to the beach... Prices are elevated? Shocking. Decent selection of beer, wine, drinks - although, sadly, no Arizona Green Tea ?They own the laundromat next door so, if the store is locked during business hours, just wait a bit. The staff is probably next door doing something.The woman that works nights is super nice and, being local, I've chatted with some randoms in the parking lot - met some cool people and neighbors.”
