“We stopped in and bought a few things the other day and I left my credit card in the machine at check out. Yep, that just happened!
Someone working was nice enough to put it aside for me. I went back today to pick it up and bought a very nice recliner that we looked at the day before. They brought it out to my truck within minutes and I was on my way.
Returning my card and bringing the recliner out that fast easily earned a 5-star review for both visits!”
“Danae is a sweetheart. She cares for a homeless cat outside the store that is hellishly anorexic. I am taking this cat tonight and putting her on PetFinder so she gets a home. Danae is also a great worker. She was friendly and helpful and Dollar General. She made my shopping experience a pleasurable one. I will be back to this store because of her as she makes shopping here fun.”
“It's a very cramped store. They are overly worried about people with coupons and tend to be more standoffish when someone presents legitimate coupons. Not exactly a value store just because the name implies it.”

“We go here often since Winn Dixie closed. There was a Hispanic girl about 45 yrs old there that I've never seen before. She was a smart ass n kinda disrespectful as cashier.This Was about 3 wks ago. Now yesterday, Kameron the young man at register was absolutely fabulous!!! Even the people in line behind me said how sweet n good he is.”

“I want to give a shout out to an employee by the name Serena. What a great employee. She was slammed with customers . She was so kind and patient. Customers in the line that are regular shoppers there was telling me how great she was and that she works all the time. There was also another man employee that was working and saw someone had spilt barbeque sauce on the floor. He was so worried I would step in it, he ran and got a rag to clean it up. What great customer service this store has. Very impressed. Thank you to management for hiring people who really care about their customers. I haven't seen that kind of service in a long time. Management your doing a great job. Also they have tons of items for $1. Anyone who's hungry can definitely afford to buy food items here. I will be telling everyone I know about this store and I will definitely be coming back.”
