“I always love stopping in to this shop and checking out the clothing or gear. They have a good selection of flies and tying material, as well as rods and lines and bags.”
“I stopped in the Rod shop to get a fishing pole fixed. The owner spotted a problem with the Rod that I didn’t notice. I bought a really cool custom Rod from him that he built. I caught a huge fish in the first 10 minutes of using it. He does amazing work!”

“Stopped into the Bass Pro Shop
store while exploring the area.
The shop has pretty much everything you would expect from a classic Florida Keys outfitter: Columbia apparel, fishing gear, boating accessories, rods, outdoor clothing, and tourist items. Nothing particularly unique stood out to us, but it’s still a worthwhile stop if you need supplies or want to browse some Keys-themed gear.
There’s also a dockside restaurant area nearby with waterfront views, although we didn’t end up dining there during this visit.”

“The Otherside is the only place I would ever recommend for anything board sport related. Not only are the day 1 OGs in the world of kite but they are also the best instructors and people I know. Mike, Shanna, Holly and the rest of the crew are the reason this place is as amazing as it is they are kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. If you make a trip to islamorada and skip out on this shop I’d honestly say you are missing out on the best part of your trip. So do yourself a favor and stop by you will absolutely not regret it. On a separate note if you need a 10/10 photographer for your various picture needs Mikey is the guy for you! He is a modern day Ansel Adams and will make you look FABULOUS!!! Go see my friends they are the best!!!!”
