“I love this place! I’ve gotten gems from here that I would have totally overlooked elsewhere. Such a well thought out selection of books and we’re so lucky to have a place like this in the neighborhood.”

“The outside of the establishment is absolutely beautiful and the inside is even more beautiful. The crystal, herbs, book, and tarot selection are phenomenal and are completely reasonably priced.”

“Barnes & Noble is my go-to spot for a peaceful and welcoming environment. I always enjoy spending time here, whether it’s to sip on a cup of coffee or tea, indulge in a little dessert, or dive into a good book. It’s the perfect place to relax, work, or read quietly on your own. The atmosphere is so inviting, and they truly make you feel at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, calm escape!”

“Cute little bookstore. Great selection. They had a section of local books and information, which I thought was pretty cool. I couldn’t find any “bargain” books, which is something I always look for in bookstores but that did not appear to be part of their business model, and that’s perfectly fine, but I was disappointed, in that sense. Overall, I’d say 4.5/5 stars.”

“When I'm looking for a children's boutique in the area, I usually shop at Hobbie Horse or Lemon Twist. However, Willie's had a great selection of unique children's books, toys, and cute outfits for boys. Karen was excellent at helping me select outfits for my sons.”

“I wouldn't really call that an experience I mainly walked pretty much in and out I just use the ATM there I got lost searching for the actual Bank off of main Street and it may have been a bank or may have been an ATM but either way my GPS took me here so all in all it looks clean and nice what I see but when I investigate more I shall let y'all know”

“I have never seen anything so amazing in my whole life. I love the Florida School Book Depository. Everybody is so nice there. The management team and their employees are amazing. In certain times they all sit down and eat together and even at times watch movies together.”

“This is a fascinating bookstore with one of the best selections of Bibles I have ever seen. The store is large, with books from all Christian faiths, and large sections of Christian apologetics, theology, and biblical commentary, among other areas such as kids, teens, Christian fiction etc. There is also a large selection of gifts for First Communion, Baptisms, etc. The reason why I gave this store only four stars, is that there isn't anything "discount" about it. In fact they charged full retail for the book I purchased, which I could have gotten cheaper at Barnes & Noble with my discount card. Second, the layout of the books and store is disorganized. Section divisions overlap. But don't let this discourage you from visiting. Places like Paxon are what make local bookstores great. They have an eclectic selection that you will not find at Amazon or B&N, but also all the new Christian titles as well.”

“This was one of the one places in the Northeast Florida area where you could actually put your hands on and purchase teacher supplies. I made my yearly pilgrimage today because the students will be in class on Monday. Saddened to find that it looks like the store has permanently closed. Hopefully the owners will set up shop somewhere else in the Clay/Duval area because they definitely were filling an important need!”

“One of our very favorite places to go for great quality used books (all monies go back to funding the Jacksonville library). The volunteers who work there are super friendly and helpful.”

“Great Place!!! It’s getting harder & harder to find a real Catholic bookstore - - thanks be to God, that I found this one.

We’re visiting from Connecticut because our grandson is in the hospital and I wanted to have a medal, some prayer cards, a Crucifix, and a newborn swaddler (yep, he’s that small) in his room.

They had everything I needed. So happy!!!”

“Cool place, like it a lot. I would love a bit more options on hat merchandise. I know freshmen start a week before everyone else, so maybe there are more hats coming in, but parents are all here for matriculation ceremony, figure that's big sales on merch? However, it is clean, students working there are great. The university is a fantastic environment/atmosphere over all. Glad my son chose this school.”

“A one woman operation. The young lady named Lexi who assisted me was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. Located a textbook for me that was at an out of city location. Emailed me when it came in. Fantastic service. Thank you Lexi!!!!!!!”

“The employees are friendly and provide just the help I'm looking for for my classes. The bookstore is clean and stocked with many academic necessities. My only issue would be that for some reason my mobile data never works when I'm inside the bookstore, but that's not a big deal. If you're planning on taking classes at FSCJ, I definitely recommend this bookstore!”

“Really great bookstore for students at UNF to get their textbooks at. They are organized in how they provide books in a orderly fashioned. On the first floor they have souvenir type of items for you too buy and get, to really live out that UNF experience.”

“Allison’s super nice and helpful, my order was supposed to have arrived and we couldn’t find it. Instead of telling me to wait til she finds it, she refunded it and helped me replace it right then and there. She’s a great person.”

“I am currently enrolled in a continued education course for Ceramics 101 with Professor Michael Cottrell and learning and loving it. As a student I have access to the studio during business hours (as long as it doesn't interfere with another active class) and the course is very open study. You ask- he shows you or does a presentation about it. Today I threw my largest pieces to date, I was pretty excited about that! With decades of experience, a very laid back demeanor and plenty of work space- the course and studio is great. Today was my first time taking advantage of going in outside of class time- I easily checked in at the Admin office and they walked me over to the classroom to unlock it for me. I need to take advantage of this more and I am seriously thinking about enrolling in additional classes. I laugh that the studio is messier than my taste- but with so many students (they have had the highest enrollment in Ceramics to date I believe), things don't always get cleaned up properly. I may have spent a little time cleaning this morning before I started my pottery work. I am so excited that we will be learning Raku firing method too!!! I hope to learn how to make a lidded pot and really get better at my forms. Cost for the course does not include clay, they have limited supplies of reclaimed clay, and you are encouraged to bring your own tools if you have them.”
