“What an awesome bookstore!! From the outside, the expectations are low but once you walk in, its endless rows of book Heaven! There was multiple rooms and is SO much bigger on the inside than it looks. I literally could get lost in there! They have new and used books (heavier on used from observation). Chamblin Bookmine also offers "book credit" where you can bring in your old books in exchange for some new ones! They give you 10% off retail for new books and 50% off retail for used (unless stated otherwise) which is a great deal. All the staff were super friendly as well. I had a great time and will definitely be coming back!”

“I went to this wonderful bookstore for a writer's circle, and was totally charmed by this sweet space. If you are looking for a book on topics you might not find elsewhere, having to do with thought provoking topics, this is the store!”

“The people who work here are always kind and knowledgeable about the products, and if ever they are unsure, they make sure to ask a colleague that does know. The prices are also reasonable.”

“Returning to my cherished bookstore, a haven of my student days at Landon, always rekindles a flood of joyful memories. Each visit feels like stepping into a realm of magic and enchantment, surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colors and the intoxicating aroma of books. Their selection is nothing short of spectacular, offering an extensive range of books and delightful literary-themed gifts. The staff exude warmth and friendliness, always eager to assist. I'm particularly impressed with their user-friendly website, which simplifies the process of placing orders and pre-orders. As a local author, I'm deeply grateful for their unwavering support and promotion of community writers. Eagerly anticipating my next visit, I remain a devoted fan of this bookstore's unique charm and community spirit.”

“Love this store. Always so well organized; no matter how busy the staff is always so personable and friendly and of course speedy at check out. We met Jacob today, he was very personable and genuine. He made the whole experience feel like I’ve been going to that bookstore for years. Thank you all/ staff for such an amazing experience! Will be coming back as a regular. :)”

“This is a fascinating bookstore with one of the best selections of Bibles I have ever seen. The store is large, with books from all Christian faiths, and large sections of Christian apologetics, theology, and biblical commentary, among other areas such as kids, teens, Christian fiction etc. There is also a large selection of gifts for First Communion, Baptisms, etc. The reason why I gave this store only four stars, is that there isn't anything "discount" about it. In fact they charged full retail for the book I purchased, which I could have gotten cheaper at Barnes & Noble with my discount card. Second, the layout of the books and store is disorganized. Section divisions overlap. But don't let this discourage you from visiting. Places like Paxon are what make local bookstores great. They have an eclectic selection that you will not find at Amazon or B&N, but also all the new Christian titles as well.”

“I love Queen of Angels Catholic Store, they have so many unique and beautiful items that I have bought which have greatly assisted me in my faith life. I am also always able to find things for others like beautiful cards for special occasions. And their books! I absolutely love all the wonderful books I have purchased there which are impossible to find in any other store in town. I really like the owner Christy who always makes people feel welcome and provides a real sense of community to anyone who walks in the store, whether they are Catholic or not.”

“$2 for hardback books, I found two cookbooks here that were also being sold at a used bookstore in town for around $10 each. I ended up becoming a member so the books ended up being bogo, and I picked up 4 books for $4, that is an absolute steal and I’m so happy I finally got around to visiting, will definitely be going back! I can’t wait to go back and search through their fiction books :)”

“I have never seen anything so amazing in my whole life. I love the Florida School Book Depository. Everybody is so nice there. The management team and their employees are amazing. In certain times they all sit down and eat together and even at times watch movies together.”

“This is a charming family owned store. This is everything wonderful about small business and personal expertise. The owners are parents themselves and all of their beautiful merchandise is hand picked by Megan, and approved by her 5 beautiful daughters. If you have special needs for a holiday, birthday, special occasion, or a just because, they will set you up with the gift you need. The merchandise is high quality, beautiful, and reasonably priced. My boys love all of the t-shirts we have from there, and they can't wait until the clean laundry comes around to wear them again. I even heard one of the owners is a US Air Reserves Veteran and a full time Jax City Fire Fighter. This type of brick and mortar store is exactly the kind of thing we need more of, small business owned by kind people. Shop here.”

“Cool place, like it a lot. I would love a bit more options on hat merchandise. I know freshmen start a week before everyone else, so maybe there are more hats coming in, but parents are all here for matriculation ceremony, figure that's big sales on merch? However, it is clean, students working there are great. The university is a fantastic environment/atmosphere over all. Glad my son chose this school.”

“Decent store with a ton of books for adults and kids. Lots of games and vinyl options as well. Saw an area with some board games as well.Be careful, some inappropriate books for children mixed in around the children's section. Some talking about sex and explicit things. Not smart by the staff.”

“I am currently enrolled in a continued education course for Ceramics 101 with Professor Michael Cottrell and learning and loving it. As a student I have access to the studio during business hours (as long as it doesn't interfere with another active class) and the course is very open study. You ask- he shows you or does a presentation about it. Today I threw my largest pieces to date, I was pretty excited about that! With decades of experience, a very laid back demeanor and plenty of work space- the course and studio is great. Today was my first time taking advantage of going in outside of class time- I easily checked in at the Admin office and they walked me over to the classroom to unlock it for me. I need to take advantage of this more and I am seriously thinking about enrolling in additional classes. I laugh that the studio is messier than my taste- but with so many students (they have had the highest enrollment in Ceramics to date I believe), things don't always get cleaned up properly. I may have spent a little time cleaning this morning before I started my pottery work. I am so excited that we will be learning Raku firing method too!!! I hope to learn how to make a lidded pot and really get better at my forms. Cost for the course does not include clay, they have limited supplies of reclaimed clay, and you are encouraged to bring your own tools if you have them.”

“Allison’s super nice and helpful, my order was supposed to have arrived and we couldn’t find it. Instead of telling me to wait til she finds it, she refunded it and helped me replace it right then and there. She’s a great person.”

“The employees are friendly and provide just the help I'm looking for for my classes. The bookstore is clean and stocked with many academic necessities. My only issue would be that for some reason my mobile data never works when I'm inside the bookstore, but that's not a big deal. If you're planning on taking classes at FSCJ, I definitely recommend this bookstore!”
