About Groundwork Jacksonville
Groundwork Jacksonville, Inc., is a 501c3 organization that was formed in 2014 by the City of Jacksonville in partnership with Groundwork USA, along with support from the US National Park Service and US Environmental Protection Agency. Groundwork was specifically created to clean and redevelop degraded urban waterways and restore contaminated land into parks, playgrounds, trails, and other public spaces and is the City of Jacksonville's nonprofit partner in building the 30-mile Emerald Trail and restoring McCoys Creek and Hogans Creek. Jacksonville is one of 21 Trusts across the country and the only Trust in Florida.

A step in the right direction. Still a lot of work to make the whole stretch from Riverside to Norwood safe for biking and walking. Awesome mosaic and murals along the way.
