The woman that helped me checked in was friendly, however she provided me with misleading information and ended up signing me up for the fuel purchase option without my consent. I've tried calling the desk 4 times and each time it rings and rings then I get hung up on. I've tried signing into the app but it won't let me create a new account because my DL is apparently assigned to an account that doesn't share my email or my wife's email addresses. The number the app tells me to call to figure out my DL issue tells me to use the app or the website for assistance. Very frustrated by the process and the circles I've had to run around

We had trouble with another Hertz in Jacksonville and The Airport Hertz has gone above and beyond. They have been amazing!!!!! Magnus and Mary have been tremendous to us!!! Would highly recommend!

Waiting in line for more than 30 minutes. All the other car rental companies get the customers out in under 15 minutes. Will never use Hertz again

The worst car return service they charged me 100$ for a full tank gas and my car tank was full with gas plus the guy there so disrespectful talking to me like I owe him anything the worst experience with them ever idk what else I should say

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Hertz, almost ruining my vacation. Dealing with an older, rude staff member set the tone, with no warm greeting or assistance. Despite resolving an issue over a lengthy international call, I was met with further unhelpfulness from the same staff member. Requests for assistance were met with dismissive replies, including a refusal to make a necessary phone call. The manager's response was equally disrespectful. Fortunately, SIXT provided a stark contrast with warm apologies and a proactive approach to resolving my issues, even upgrading my car. This unpleasant encounter has solidified my decision to never rent from Hertz again, and I hope Hertz corporate addresses such concerns for future customers.

Donald at the service desk in JAX was AMAZING! Super kind and informing. We made a mistake in our booking, we were anxious about it but he helped to clear it up quickly and with a smile! Anyone that runs into his kind spirit will be blessed! :)

Presidents Circle member. Rented a car from this location - got to I-95 and the tire pressure indicator came on. We pumped the tire back up and went back to exchange the car (which they did). Couple of months later, I get a "collection notice" for damage to the car. Apparently a nail in a tire is "damage" that I am responsible for - even though it might have happened earlier. Its impossible to talk to anyone live about this. Hertz customer service has no claim and they told me to ignore the message. Of course, its impossible to talk to anyone at the location (unless you fly back into Jax I guess). So disappointing and frustrating. I'm ditching Hertz forever. Shameful performance.

The first car I got I drove to our place and parked in daylight hours. The next afternoon it was dead. Waited 1.5 hours for assistance, then had to drive 1 hour to exchange the car and 1 hour back, as well as it took the counter person well over half an hour to get a new car to us. So, you stole 4+ hours of my life and fuel.I get it, things happen, I was ok with it until you CHARGED me $22 for a TRANSFER EXCHANGE FUEL & SERVICE. What even is that? The car was full, barely, just barely a sliver of a line below full. And not one mention of a fuel charge. Not one! I found it on the emailed receipt.Also, I was running a bit behind in returning the vehicle and called (what a nightmare to get a human) to ask about being late and if there was a charge and all I got from the person I finally talked to was "I don't know, you will have to ask when you drop the car off." I only ended up being 15 minutes late, so it was no biggy and when I was not driving, I had a chance to read the policy and it clearly stated you were late after half an hour. So, you couldn't just tell me the company policy?Never again!

Great service,very helpful and informative. First visit to Jacksonville, and we will be going to St. Augustin. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about both areas, which made it easy for me to get where I needed to be. I'm very thankful for her assistance.

Was fairly easy to get to once you get off the plane. I wish they had the Fastpass system where you can just walk up and get the car that you want without stopping to see anybody. However this time around they had me set up on a car that I wasn't comfortable with as I'm a person of size. They sent me up for the really good car for the same price to accommodate my height and such. Great place great customer service thank you very much for taking care of me
