I had the best experience today. Darien was my host and he greeted everyone with love, not just me. He really is a gem and a star employee. W Just off my experience with Darien i will be booking this Marriott location again..

I am a loyal Bonvoy member and unfortunately had an experience that almost resulted in a medical emergency. My profile clearly notes that I require a feather free room due to allergy. When I checked in I assumed that all feather bedding had been replaced. I had an allergic reaction and quickly realized that the pillows were feather and immediately removed them from the room and called the front desk. I explained my need for a feather free room and was told that they would send someone up immediately to replace the the pillows. The pillows were removed promptly but replacements were not provided, after 30 I called back down and was told that foam pillows were not abundant but within a few minutes they arrived with replacements. As I tried to settle in, by now it was 11:00 pm, my allergic reaction continued to worsen, it was then that I double checked the duvet, yes it was filled with feathers. When I went down stairs the night auditor proceeded to explain that they only pull a certain code, not the one from my profile. At that point I did not care how it was missed, only that they had not informed me that all the bedding contained feathers. She offered me Benadryl, which I had already taken at the start of the reaction.
Marriott needs to train its staff to understand that allergies are not minor. I was a lone traveler and their failure to fully remove the trigger when I first notified them could have resulted in a medical emergency.

Horrible strong mold, mildew odor, caustic. I was gagging upon entrance. No other rooms available. My husband has no sence of smell. They sprayed but nothing else they can do. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I already have a headache. I thought the smell would go away but it was constant. Do not go here.

I booked a room here 5 months in advance. They canceled my room the day before I flew into Jacksonville. They told me they were overbooked.

Not bad. I had a problem that was disappointing in a hotel of this caliber, but it was fixed quickly, so it was more of an annoyance than anything. I'd stay here again.

I'm a Marriott guy. The bar area and bartenders were awesome. The front desk and vallets were over the top. The service was great.
The rooms were not so great. Dated, just not the best at all. They say that they are going to renovate. Hopefully, they put the time and money into it and not just put lipstick on a pig. This is in a great location and the staff, bar and restaurant are wonderful. Just fix the place up, please.
Rooms: The rooms need to be updated and fixed. Leaking pipes, worn carpet, and stained ceilings.
Food and drinks: The bar is a great place to hang out. The staff and atmosphere is wonderful, relaxing and we had fun.

Could only stay one night due to Evac - got in late. They were busy. Staff so friendly even amongst influx of stressed travelers. Quality of customer service and experiences speak volumes.
Beautiful view of fountain. Wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy sparkling pool.
Would be happy to stay again when I pass through.

Wi-Fi is really slow
Small market has no healthy options behind glass?
Bed is one of the worst. Don’t look at carpet trust me or walls..
AC system in room smells moldy vents
It’s just a tired hotel that should be closed and revamped.

How was this was the best rated hotel near me?! There's no parking and its $30 extra dollars for Valet. AND theres no free breakfast. A more reasonably priced hotel would have better accommodations. They even take forever to get your room ready.
