Today I was told (after I wasted all the time at the counter taping my box) that I could not use the complimentary tape on the counter (which I needed to ship my package as I am out of my own tape atm) on my package because it was not a priority package. The employee was very rude and unprofessional about it as well just wanted to be right and argue she didn’t say anything nice like “sir I’m sorry for the confusion but..” or anything of the sort. Just “you can’t mix the priority tape with your packages” I asked why there was tape out there for people anyways she said “it was for customers” I had to cut her off and remind her “I AM A CUSTOMER” as can be seen by the prepaid label on my package. Bottom line is that it is SO RIDICULOUS THAT USPS CUSTOMERS CANT EVEN USE SOME CHEAP TAPE FOR FREE/IN A TIME OF NEED WHERE THEY DONT HAVE THEIR OWN TAPE. PUT A ROLL OF NORMAL TAPE ON THE COUNTERS FOR ALL CUSTOMERS TO USE NOT JUST PRIORITY MAIL SHIPPERS

I have been leaving reviews lately because people’s voice needs to be heard. They are super lazy hear . No customer help & on their personal phones the whole time. Asked for a manager laughed in my face. Would not give me there name. So bad!

This place is just the worst. Nothing is ever working here. How are you a post office if you can’t even scan things to send? Like how is it always something down in this place? Is always’ we can’t do this right now’ well it seems like you can’t do anything ever. 🤦♀️

The lady there helped me out so much. Tried calling the automated main line and that got me no where....had a major issue that she took point on and made right and followed up afterwards. This rating is mostly for that person...thank you!

So often when I drop off packages here it takes a few days for the tracking to update to “Arrived at USPS Regional Origin Facility.” I don’t know if they sit on the packages for a couple days or what but I’d recommend taking your packages to a different Jax USPS office!

I felt sorry for the lady employee! She was whispering instead of talking! The atmosphere was more of a hospital, a funeral place? Or a detention center or what!?, no music ? Had she use her brain and understood my postal needs,or concerns/ she could save the customer 50% on the best choice! So I struggled to find out on my own! And still didn’t succeed in perfect packaging to send a gift to a friend! (How embarrassed I am now)! 😂! At the end I didn’t feel sorry for her any more, because I learned she did’t care about customer’s needs and services anyways! At the end She was still smart and polite! did not advised nor helped!
So, I don’t think private businesses can ever operate like this and stay in business! Only the “united states” businesses can!

They have a girl who has very bad manners when serving, it seems like they force her to be there, please hire people who are polite, because at the end of the day, we are a customer. 03.14.2025 It's sad that these kinds of people work in these kinds of places.

This is by far the worst post office in the entirety of Duval County, if not the entire United States.
Avoid at all costs to yourself. The staff, no matter who they hire, are rude...
The wait times are unbearable....

The same person that has been working there for the past three days has come in sick and has left early by 45 minutes each day they have no additional support they have no customer service support. I came in within plenty of time and only asked to get two re-shipment labels printed they were very rude and nasty, and I honestly cannot believe how much these individuals get paid for the amount of disrespect and inability to help customers… I mean, I don’t ever remember working for the government and being able to make up my own schedule and leave 45 minutes early for three days in a row but I mean hey maybe things have changed since I was in

Don’t bother. Rude and wouldn’t accept my package because I needed 6” of tape. Wanted to charge me $5 for a new tape roll. Took it to UPS with no issues.
