Horrible experience with Kayla!
I went in and said I’d like to do an EXCHANGE! My first exchange was denied due to the date on the gift receipt. Ok fine, there is no way around that. Next was for an online order. She scanned all items & then fast fingered it & completed the RETURN. Proceeded to tell me it will go back on the card after the fact & when I said can I get store credit as I wanted to purchase different items. She said once it’s processed it’s processed. I told her that I wanted to get something else, she says “ I didn’t say that” I’m sorry, what!? I said EXCHANGE! I’m sure if she didn’t have such a horrible attitude or actually liked her job she could have voided the transaction in the system & told me to go get the items I would like. However, there was no engagement from her. Just telling me my return is past the 30 days.. then telling me it’s going back to original payment! So now, I have lost $57 from a gift for my newborn & some other items I can’t use.. I’m sure nothing will be noted as retail in person is dying out due to this type of customer service! Retail used to be held to a standards and Kayla was short on all!

I hate to be this person, but it needs to be said to spread awareness. On Tuesday, I went to the store to purchase a pair of Bermuda shorts. A couple of days later, I came to the conclusion that it I did not want it anymore, so I went to return it.
This morning, I arrived at the store to let the employee know I would like to return the shorts. She then proceeded to SNIFF the shorts and ask her co worker if it smells like laundry detergent, to which she said “yes.” She asked me if these shorts had been washed, and I had replied “yes.” She then, with attitude, proceeds to tell me “ we cannot accept returns with items that have been washed because someone with an allergic reaction could react badly to the smell.” She then proceeds to lock eye contact with me and slide the shorts back on the counter towards me.
I understand that it is company policy and you’ve gotta do what you gotta do. But again, it goes back to that classic saying; “It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.” These other poor reviews were not lying. Their customer service is nonexistent.
With that being said, I guess you could say there were two lessons learned, on both sides. I should probably read the return policy for other stores and the employees at the gap Dadeland location need to learn some manners! 🥰

I didn’t give it 5 stars only because the store didn’t have a wider selection or variety. Everything else was good.

We are workers who painted part of the store, they hired AM FACILITY SOLUTION CORP they scammed us and they didn't pay us, we called the store and they washed their hands! They are inconsiderate if they continue to hire this company to read bride services

AVOID , AVOID, AVOID THE MANAGER… a very rude and unprofessional person to deal with when it comes to return an item.. she will always say something back to you like ‘we don’t carry this item in the store no more “ or why you didn’t request the return via ups online .. GAP WILL STOP accepting return from online orders.. she gets very irritated when you come to the store with your item with tag and receipt on hand within 30 days .. it is like you’re given her extra work to do on her shift ..SHE WILL MAKE YOU FEEL UNWELCOME in the store..
.. I don’t know her name but she’s a short lady with glasses with NO CUSTOMERS SERVICES AGAIN AVOID AVOID HER …

Store hours are from 10:00am -9:00pm according to their website. I went to return an item at 8:30 pm and the doors were locked. The workers saw me and didn't even acknowledge that I was there. Their customer service is awful. ??
