The store features many original pieces created by local artists, adding a special touch to their offerings. Customers often find the shop's products to be of good quality, and the friendly staff provide great customer service. The store also offers shipping options across the US and no taxes on out-of-state purchases, making it convenient for out-of-town buyers.
Many customers are drawn to the store because of its fun and quirky atmosphere, especially those who enjoy poultry or want a memorable keepsake from Florida. One popular item is a painted metal chicken named Gabe, which a customer purchased as a special memento from their trip. Prices for larger decorative chickens are around $50-60, while smaller souvenirs like towels and T-shirts are more affordable. Some customers feel certain items may be a bit pricey, but overall, the store provides a colorful and cheerful shopping experience.
While most reviews highlight the store’s charming selection and friendly service, there are occasional concerns about the quality of some items, such as prints that fell apart after a short period. Nevertheless, Funky Chicken Store remains a fun, colorful place for chicken enthusiasts and those seeking unique, poultry-themed products.
We go every year to get chickens to decorate our porch in South Carolina. The people who work there are always so nice and helpful . Highly recommend.

Cute items, prices not too expensive. Had to buy a t-shirt with a chicken on it.

Beautiful boutique shop on Duval with the kindest local running it. I could have stayed and talked to her all day!! I felt very welcomed at this establishment. Did a little gift shopping and socialized.
