“It's a wonderful place. Centrally located just off Duval. Walking distance from everything. The owners are great. The pool area is quiet and serene. There are zero negatives. Don't miss the free daily happy hour!”

“This place deserves all of its 5 stars. The rooms were comfortable and had several small touches that made it so worth it - all the lights were on dimmers and there were a variety of lamps, overheads, and bedside lights. The hotel was within walking distance to everything but not noisy at all. The loungers at the pool were outfitted with towels every day. The continental breakfast was delicious - and no extra charge. What made it for me was daily housekeeping. A lot of places have gone away from that since Covid and I really appreciate coming home after a long day sightseeing and eating and drinking to a fresh room. The only critique I have is that the hotel could invest in a pool chiller. We have one at home and it really helps with the pool temperature in the heat of the summer! That pool had to be pushing 100° which wasn’t the most refreshing when it’s already sweltering outside. That’s literally my only complaint…”
“We had a wonderful stay here. If you are looking for good accommodations close to Duval St at a fraction of the cost, this is the place to be. The daily free breakfast was also a plus. The property was keep clean and the staff were great, especially Will and Stacey Ann. Highly recommend!”
“Lieutenant Dan was such a wonderful tour guide!!! Very informative about the different locations and will keep you laughing! Thanks Dan 9 1/2 for such a wonderful experience!!!”
“Kayla is Fantastic!! Thank you very much for several nights of entertainment and the best Pina Colada on the island! We only came by for drinks, not the hotel.”
“Goal was to find a place two separate bedrooms conjoined. This Capitana key west was ideally situated with all the amenities. We enjoyed the private deck, pools (with fountains, bar, night lighting, and view), and innovative access wristlets. The front desk and additional staff were very professional and nice. Glad to have found this place to stay.”

“My husband and I stayed at the Marquesa for a friend's wedding. The location was perfect - so close to walk pretty much anywhere which was really nice. The staff was SO friendly and kind, and were very helpful during our stay. Our room was beautiful, spacious and clean. The pools were lovely and the deck area was clean and the environment was calm. Absolutely would recommend staying at the Marquesa and we would definitely come back again!”

“Took a much needed girls trip to Key West and stayed at the Duval House and it was everything we dreamed of and more! Perfect room just for us, surrounded by beautiful greenery, definitely took advantage of the cute pool area and the waffles for breakfast were amazing! We are already planning our next trip! Thank you to the Duval House!”
“The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It's within walking distance to downtown. Staff is extremely kind! They have a nice breakfast layout and a happy hour, too. There best parking is about a 15 minute walk so drop your luggage off at check in. We truly enjoyed our girls weekend getaway!”

“We recently had the pleasure of staying at Mansion on the Sea for our wedding weekend, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The property itself is absolutely stunning—perched right on the water with breathtaking ocean views that make you feel like you’re in paradise. The mansion is beautifully maintained, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Every corner of the place feels elegant yet cozy, making it easy to relax and enjoy.
What truly made the stay special, though, was the exceptional hospitality provided by our host, Nina. From the moment we arrived, Nina went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her warm, friendly demeanor and attention to detail were unmatched. She was always available to answer any questions, offer recommendations for local activities, and ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect.
The rooms were spacious, immaculate, and filled with thoughtful touches, from plush bedding to high-end amenities. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying breakfast on the terrace with those incredible views was a highlight of the trip.
I cannot recommend Mansion on the Sea and Nina highly enough. If you’re looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway by the ocean with top-notch service, this is the place to be! Thank you, Nina, for making our stay so memorable—we can’t wait to return!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Incredible Stay
The Truman Hotel is a hidden gem in Key West, but what really made our experience unforgettable was Beka, the host. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Friendly, professional, and full of great local tips — Beka is truly the heart of this place.
The hotel itself is gorgeous: clean, modern rooms, a relaxing pool area with a tropical vibe, and a great location just a few minutes’ walk from Duval Street. It’s the perfect mix of peaceful and central.
If you’re lucky enough to be helped by Beka, you’re in the best hands. He’s the kind of host who makes you want to come back — and we definitely will!”

“Wonderful, small, silent hotel with 12 rooms and a pool in the center. Enough parking lots available at the hotel otherwise free parking in the roads around. A good conclusion to the beaches and Duval Street. The staff is very friendly and helpfulI. I will return definitely and recomend it to my friends and family.”

“We stayed here for two nights on our trip to Key West and I have not ONE negative thing about the place. The rooms were clean and perfectly sized (we had a king suite for two). Two pools with one heated and despite all the guests using them they were never crazy busy or crowded. All the rooms are very close to both pools and breakfast. Served a light breakfast everyday which is perfect with how expensive everything is. All in all very pleased and we will absolutely be back!”

“We stayed in a studio. It was perfect! The room was spotless, the sheets soft and the bed was very comfortable. It’s set up very private and secure. They have a beautiful pool, ice machine and filtered water so just bring your refillable bottle. The innkeepers are responsive and friendly. They have bikes on site but the location is perfect. We had no problem with parking right out front of the inn. Everything is within walking distance so no need for a rental. We will definitely be back.”

“The service was very, very friendly. We were super excited to get a room, which is very surprising during the moving season.
The room was very clean, the sheets were crisp, and we enjoyed our overnight stay. No mold, no dirt, I was happy.
We paid $143/night, which was unbeatable in Keywest for a CLEAN room WITH a kitchenette.
Yeah, the building is outdated, yep, no elevator, fortunately for us that didn't matter.”

“A small slice of paradise! Everywhere you look is beautiful and they play soothing and rhythmic music that is calming and puts you even more in the island life mood!
The staff are very attentive to any need you may have, especially Patrick and Ivan!
The property is picture perfect for a wedding or any celebration party! Food is Devine and the staff are very efficient and almost invisible.
You get greeted from all staff no matter how busy they are, I cannot speak high enough for this resort, it’s a must stay and I am definitely going back again and again - goodbye way over crowded crazy KeyWest, Hello Ocean Edge Resort! Tell them I sent ya & I say Hey!! Now go book and be ready for being spoiled!”

“A slice of paradise in old town Key West. Close to everything but quiet and tranquil with beautiful tropical gardens, 2 pools, tiki bar, majestic banyan trees, palm trees. My perfect escape each year.”
“Solange was very professional and understanding of the situation I was in when booking the place. She made the stay that much more enjoyable. We stayed in room 6. The bathroom
was designed a bit oddly as there was some sort of bath waterspout that you couldn't even use, and your feet would hit it when showering. The overhead shower seemed to be on the wrong wall in the shower. It was very uncomfortable to take a shower. The stairs going down to the hot tub area could've used a better hand railing. Everything was very clean. My only real request would be to add a small table with 2 chairs to each room to make it complete. Breakfast could have used a protein like sausage or bacon. Other than blueberry yogurt and boiled eggs, it was all bread, bagels and muffins. Staff should definitely make it very clear that you should drop off your luggage when checking in, so that you don't have to drag it 4-5 blocks down Duval and back to your room. I still give it a 4-star rating, because Solange truly was the most kind and professional person I've experienced in a long time. Give her a raise immediately.”
“Are rooms were beautiful looks like they renovated it absolutely beautiful The View was wonderful loved everything about the hotel location is great only thing I would probably be not too enthusiastic about is the small pool really really small”
“Great place to be in Key West away from the tourist insanity. Located north on Key West it’s quiet and a short drive or bike ride to the beaches and attractions. 2 pools and boat slips! I’ve had a 2 bedroom condo share for years and love our time here”
“The rooms were spacious and had a nice resort atmosphere.
The minus was that there were a lot of birds at breakfast.
The location has a nice view of the ocean, but I was disappointed that I couldn't walk to the beach.
Overall I'm satisfied!”

“Booked the room just as a place to sleep for the night after camping on Dry Tortugas. Was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Location close enough to everything I wanted/needed. I would stay here again.”

“Our family of 5 had an amazing stay at this Marriott property! Starting with our arrival, we waited a short time because our room wasn't ready. Mary Ann checked us in, took a beautiful family picture under the balloon arch, gave us a room upgrade and breakfast voucher because we had to wait. Tom at the concierge desk was also very helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. The entire staff from housekeeping to the groundskeepers to the pool staff were all very friendly and professional. Our room was exceptionally clean, spacious and quiet. We had a balcony and saw some iguanas hanging out on the terracotta roof tiles. We loved this location because it's close enough to downtown Key West like a 10 minute drive, but far enough to avoid the crowds and noise. There is a Starbucks in the lobby with very friendly and efficient staff. It's also close to Publix grocery store, CVS, Beall's and other local stores. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Key West!”

“This place is great! Location, amenities, and the coldest pool in Key West…an absolute must-have here in the summer! Patrick is hands down the coolest and a great guy. You’ll never meet a better consierge than him. Will stay here again and again!”
“Very charming, fun, whimsical property guaranteed to put you in a good mood! Staff is friendly and helpful, and the decor and vibe is definitely Havana with nice painted murals, festive colors, whimsical surprises everywhere, and Salsa music playing. There's a cool tiki hut area for weddings and events which is why I stopped in since I get inquiries for weddings here. LOVED the pool! There are bigger rooms available, but the ones I saw were small yet charming. Highly recommend you visit!
Rooms: Charming but some are a bit small.”
“we chose the spot for our 25th wedding anniversary and we’re amazed at the service from the moment we stepped in. I asked about an early check-in so they decided they would upgrade us. We had a beautiful overlooking the water with the living room fridge. Microwave was just for our seven day trip, we loved it and the bar was so sweet and helpful and all of the staff Daniel the manager at the front was so kind and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about anyone or anything. Anything I asked for housekeeping was amazing. Checking on us constantly again they really spoiled us. Thank you so much.
Food and drinks: The food was fantastic. We had shrimp breakfast there and the cocktails were just spot on.”

“This was our first time at the Marker and we loved it. Staff were wonderful! Everyone very friendly and attentive. They cleaned our room everyday without having to ask. The pool and bar was great The location was perfect. We will definitely be back.
Rooms: Our room was very open and large. The bathroom was updated with a bath and a shower.
Nearby activities: Right next to the harbor lots of restaurants lots of bars lots of shopping
Walkability: The entrance has stairs and an elevator.”
“Located pretty much on the corner of Route 1 and Duval Street, this place is in a great location. About a 7-10 minute walk to the waterfront area and other popular bars, this area is relatively quiet at night.
From the moment you walk into the front office, you can tell this place is well managed. Everything is clean, neat, and well-appointed. Every staff member we met always daid hello and was smiling.
The building is a typical 50s motor lodge layout, with the pool in the center and the rooms surrounding it, making almost every room pool side. The rooms aren't as big as one would find in a quality hotel, but enough space to feel comfortable. Our room was pristine. Everything appeared to be in like new condition and very clean. Quality soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and lotion were in pump bottles, at the sink, and in the shower. Also, in the room is a full-size ironing board, a large safe, kureig coffee machine, and refrigerator.
The continental breakfast is one of the best I've seen. Bagels, breads, English muffins, Danish, muffins, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit salad, as well as fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and a variety of juices. I'm sure I'm missing something, so much food!
The on-site martini bar is small, with maybe 6 stools at a curved bar. It seems to be a popular place, as it is packed with people every evening. We did get drinks one day while lounging poolside. They were definitely worth the price.
We will definitely return here if we travel back to Key West again. It's the little things that make this place great. White tablecloths on the outdoor tables for breakfast, putting candles on all the poolside tables as dusk, and the staff. Plenty of staff, always willing to answer a question or help if they can.
Rooms: On the smaller side, cozy. There's not much drawer space if you're looking to unpack for a week. A large wardrobe does have about a dozen wooden hangers.
Nearby activities: Nine Line coffee is right in front of the motel :). Numerous shops and restaurants are easily within walking distance, we never moved the car from its parking space.
Safety: Mostly, we went out during the day. Never did we feel unsafe walking around the area. The couple of times we went out a night, we were mostly on Duval Street and, again, did not feel unsafe.
Walkability: We walked everywhere, averaging about 10,000 to 15,000 steps a day.”
