Orchid Key Inn is a beautifully landscaped oasis of calm located in a great location on the corner of Route 1 and Duval Street in the heart of Key West's lively district. It is an adults-only retreat, a quiet and quaint property just steps from the hustle and bustle, with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars easily within walking distance. The building is a typical 50s motor lodge layout, completely updated and reinvented into a modern, upscale, and fun place. The tranquil pool and spa area forms the heart of the inn, surrounded by rooms. The area is well-appointed with ample chaise lounges, shaded table seating with white tablecloths, and candles placed at dusk. The on-site martini bar is small but popular, serving stellar cocktails, generous pours of high-quality wine, and expertly crafted drinks that can be delivered poolside. The staff, from desk to bartenders to housekeeping and maintenance, are what make the place truly spectacular. Every staff member is friendly, nice, and always smiling, receiving guests with grace, kindness, and enthusiasm. They are meticulous in upkeep and attention to detail, always willing to help. Rooms are pristine, spotless, very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. They are on the smaller side but cozy, with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. Amenities include quality soaps and lotions in pump bottles, a Keurig coffee machine, a refrigerator, a safe, and daily fresh water. The continental breakfast is one of the best, served daily with a wide variety of light and tasty options. It includes pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, juices, and actually good coffee. Guests can walk everywhere from this wonderful location, never needing their car, and the area feels safe. The combination of a great location, a tranquil pool, impeccable service, clean and comfortable rooms, and excellent food and drinks makes Orchid Key Inn a highly recommended place where guests are happy to return again and again.
Absolutely loved our stay the Orchid Key Inn! Highly recommend. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful. They truly care that you have a good stay and helping anyway they can. Cute poolside bar with good drinks was a bonus too. Pool was the perfect temperature and entire facility was well kept and clean!
