“My wife and I absolutely love this hotel. Rooms are extremely clean. Staff is wonderful. Continental breakfast is surprisingly decent. The pool is very nice and well kept. The location is great, being on Duval at the beginning of the 1,000 block, with plenty of food and drink options being within a block or two.”

“5 stars for a Best Western? You bet. The room was large and spotless. The walls were NOT thin. The hospitality of the front desk crew was outstanding. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk to the Southernmost Point Buoy. Across the street is a very good market/restaurant/coffee place called Ana's. Very good coffee, Cuban and other deli sandwiches can be found there, plus the market has the basic necessities. Breakfast is included every day. There's eggs, bacon, yogurt, muffins, waffles, etc. it's not amazing but it's not bad. Parking was free. They have a decent pool. The hotel was quiet at night. It's just a block or two from Duval Street but not the crazy part of Duval. It's a good 10-15 minute walk to the heart of Duval. Prices for hotels in Key West are off the charts and this was reasonably priced compared to many other places. I would absolutely stay here again.”

“A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of old town Key West on world famous Duval street. The owners have thought of everything! My room has a kitchenette with microwave, silverware, and fridge. If you’re a coffee drinker, Speakeasy Inn has the best selection of Keurig coffee pods of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The fridge is stocked with large bottles of water and Gatorade. The room is lovely, and clean with a comfortable bed, and fresh linens. The bathroom was very clean and stocked with plenty of towels, soap, shampoo etc. The internet is fast and reliable. If you are looking to stay on Duval street…The Speakeasy Inn & Rum bar is your destination.”

“This is my third time in Key West. I think this is my favorite of the places I’ve stayed so far. It was quaint, clean, and in a fantastic location. The owners are super friendly. Happy hour is nice too. Totally unexpected.”

“This is hands down the best place to stay in Key west, Cary was so accommodating and very helpful during our stay. Can't wait to come and stay again! Thank you Almond Tree Inn and Cary for making us feel like family.”

“Little piece of heaven. Charming Mansion with wonderful staff. The Mansion is old but cozy. We loved the place during the day with the pool just next to the water and walking distance to everything. The only problem we had was during the night. Our room (204) was facing the street and you could hear everything going on outside. The roosters were not the problem but singing screaming people and delivery trucks coming at 5.30 in the morning. But, except from that, we really loved staying at this magic Mansion.”

“Loved everything about this place. We walked everywhere we went and L'Habitation is the perfect location to do this. Continental breakfast was perfect to grab coffee and a filled croissant or yogurt to start the day. We had the king room in back of house with a patio that was perfect to enjoy the beautiful weather. Room was clean and quiet. We didn't hear any noise from rest of house. We needed late check in due to flight delays and manager was very accommodating. We stayed 4 nights and would highly recommend!Rooms: Room was very clean, bed was comfortableSafety: Patio was locked street side and easily accessible with our room key.Walkability: We walked everywhere and L'Habitation is the perfect location for that.”

“Beautiful place with lots of them and he's. Unique use of the space where individual rooms are rented out, and most of the space is common areas. Beautiful pool, relaxing and you don't see many other guests.Rooms: Room was spacious and included a refrigerator. Each room and had its own bath suite, and access to a shared balcony.Nearby activities: In the old part of town, central to Key West. Easy to walk or bike around. Driving the narrow streets was a minor challenge, and parking is hard to find in town.”

“I love Opal hotels. We stayed in bar harbor, Portsmouth, lake George, all enjoyed us a lot. This one in key west is no exception, service is good. Rooms are awesome. I especially love the scent they are using, nest sea salt.Beds are clean, comfortable. Room is tidy, roomy, also with microwave and refrigerator.”

“Excellent place and location. The rooms were extremely clean along with the grounds minus the ashtrays placed out for smokers. Huge turn off and really "cheapens" such a beautiful place. Nobody wants to sit out next to a beautifully maintained pool and relax in comfy furniture while someone is hacking and smoking. Gross! The location was perfect for everything that you want to do. The staff is fantastic and go the extra mile to make for a pleasant stay. The only thing that I would change is different beds as they are a bit too firm and definitely blackout curtains as there is no way to turn off the outdoor lighting next to the room and on the porch. The room is too bright to sleep in.. These are two reasons why I would not stay again along with the outdoor smoking. Other than that, everything was perfect along with impeccably clean rooms. We stayed in a 2 king bed suite on the third floor. Beautiful room! Very quite. I would definitely recommend this room but keep in mind it is very bright at night. The whole hotel was very quite and nice otherwise. Overall, great experience and wonderful staff. Like I said, invest in better mattresses and some nice room darkening curtains, get rid of the ashtrays on the nice outdoor furniture and you have a gem of a place. Big thank you to the excellent staff there!! Everyone was fantastic!”

“This was a wonderful hidden gem! We had a sisters weekend and were pleasantly surprised at how quite the place was and how close the location was to everything we wanted to do. The only other people there was the couple in the next cottage over, and we all sat at the pool together. Wish we could have stayed longer, I'd definitely like to come back next time!”

“My husband and I stayed here for our wedding and honeymoon. It was WONDERFUL. We got married on Smather's Beach on Key West, which was a short drive away. Honestly though, we never had to leave the hotel. The food was AMAZING. We enjoyed the Valentine's 4 course dinner. I can honestly say that the food at the hotel was just as good as the highest rated restaurants in Key West. The view from the room was so relaxing. We watched the sun rise and set over the water. It was serene. I started every day with a cup of tea watching the sun rise.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a kayaking tour with Anela. We did a sunset tour, I believe it was a Valentine's day special. It was one of the highlights of the trip. She was so knowledgeable and excited about everything she showed us. You could tell she really loves her job. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out we felt special. The property is beautiful. Thank you Ocean's Edge. We will be back!!”

“A slice of paradise in old town Key West. Close to everything but quiet and tranquil with beautiful tropical gardens, 2 pools, tiki bar, majestic banyan trees, palm trees. My perfect escape each year.”

“We stayed one night here recently. It's a charming place. The two bedroom unit was ok. There is no social sitting room per se unless you sit in the one bedroom room. The floor does slate which was off putting when you first get out of bed. The court yard was lovely. Location is perfect. The owners and staff were delightful. Room was clean and bed's were comfortable. A pleasant stay.”

“This recent visit was my second time staying here & it was really great! The first visit we stayed in a small studio room. It had a TV & mini fridge, closet, and bathroom & was quite comfortable. There is a shared pool in the middle and beautiful tropical foliage all around. The second time we were upgraded into a one bedroom room with a living area and full kitchen! It was really a beautiful spot, there was even a small & private outdoor area in the back with chairs. The living room area had a futon to potentially sleep more guests. The only complaint I would have is that both times there has been an area or two that housekeeping missed but not a big deal either time, we just tidied it up ourselves.Management is kind & helpful as well!It is walking distance to the Southernmost Point buoy & we walked down Duval as well. Great spot because it’s close but just far away enough from the chaos of Duval haha!We will definitely be coming back again ⭐️Walkability: Close to the Southernmost Buoy & about a 10 min walk to the bars on Duval”

“Loved this place. Such a cute little B&B-well-maintained and quiet. Wonderful location; located in old Key West so all you'd want to see is walkable. If you don't want to walk, bike rentals are super close. Very helpful and friendly staff-Barby gave us lots of good recommendations and showed us where we'd want to go on the map, which saved us lots of time. If we make it back to Key West, we will definitely stay here again.”

“This was our first time staying at the Opal Key Resort. We loved the size and view of our room, however the bathroom was very dated and we were disappointed that the kitchenette in our suite didn’t have any cutlery, plates, bowls, napkins, etc nor did it have a sink as were portrayed in the pictures on the website. The pool area was beautiful and Ryan was very accommodating and made excellent food recommendations. The Bistro was also delicious as were the drinks at the pool bar & sun deck. The resort location is perfect and we look forward to returning next year!”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Parrot Key Hotel, which was in a good location, had a nice outdoor restaurant and bar and provided shuttles into town every half hour.We didn’t use any of the pools or beach as we are Florida residents and really just came to the Keys for a weekend getaway.”

“Hampton Inn Key West is the place to stay. It is conveniently located near the airport. The place was clean and the staff was professional. The concierge at the hotel is the person to go to for all your adventures on the island. They really took care of us well. The Pool was awesome. The Complimentary breakfast with the local birds were great. Shuttle to/from airport and also to/from the downtown area was very convenient.”

“Lovely room and grounds, pool was very nice and close to all beaches and attractions. Downside was that it is in close proximity to police/fire rescue and sirens were constant. Staff was courteous and helpful.Rooms: All anemities provided for kitchenette. A bonus since everything (food related) on the island is outrageously priced.”

“Nice, quiet, but still centrally located hotel. All hotspots are very easy to reach on foot. The rooms are furnished to match Key West. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the hotel. Only the loud air conditioning could be replaced. And the “Crazy Chicken” wakes you up at 6:00 in the morning :-D. The breakfast, which is included in the price, is OK. The hotel's free parking spaces should also be highlighted positively.”

“Spent one night at this hotel as part of my honeymoon and it was absolutely fabulous!! The room was great and the staff spoiled us when they heard that we were there for our honeymoon. Karen at the front desk was amazing! Very kind and helpful. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Key West.”

“Had lunch here due to convenience and was pleasantly surprised. Had the blackened shrimp tacos and they were fantastic. 2 corn shell tacos, full with veggies, shrimp and a great spicy creamy sauce. Actually went back a couple days later and had them again. Outside bar staff was great, Eddie was the best!”

“The hotel was quiet and very pretty. Lots of tropical greens with a nice little pool and hot tub. The breakfast is great! Great location one block off Duval St. The service was terrible however. I will say the evening manager Patrick was very nice but everyone else was unfriendly. We got ZERO housekeeping services during our stay and had to go to the front office to get bath towels. No bed making, no emptying trash and no room cleaning. The housekeeper did make a point of mopping the dining area with very strong bleach solution during breakfast however….. so thanks for that. I don’t think we will be back.”

“Went down for a work trip with a group of 20+. This hotel is in an awesome location, near everything. The grounds were pristine. I only ate at the restaurant for breakfast, it was really good. The staff was the best part, especially Lisa who worked around the pool. We kept her running around all day.”
