Sandal Factory is a premier destination for casual and outdoor sandals in South Florida and the Florida Keys, with stores all over US-1. Since its original store opening in 1990, it has been a well known destination. This large brick and mortar store is well stocked. It is not only a sandal place; here you can get shirts, shorts, bags, sunglasses, and pretty much anything beach related for your trip or to take home as gifts. They carry a wide range of brands like Teva, Merrell, Reef, Quiksilver, Roxy, Billabong, Sanuk, Guy Harvey, Mephisto, and Birkenstock, and also offer a sizable selection of closed-toe shoes like Hey Dudes. The store has a great selection of sizes ranging from small to large, though plus sizes are harder to find. Prices vary, with sandals often in the $40 to $150 range, while t-shirts and little trinket stuff are decently priced. Some note that a promotional sign can be misleading, calling it a tourist trap. However, it is still recommended as a nicer, more organized store with a wide variety of almost anything you would need for the beach, from boating to hiking or lounging by the pool.
