“Never had a bad experience here. Convenient for a quick grab and go last minute trip omw home. The only thing is there’s always a long line. And usually one cashier to check customers out… other than that it’s ok.”
“I’m visiting from out of the area but I want to take my time and write out this review because this is hands down the best dollar tree I’ve ever been to!! Jackie was very sweet & helpful at the checkout and it was overall VERY organized. Keep doing what you guys are doing we appreciate all your hard work!!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-STAR SERVICE FROM YISLEN AT DOLLAR GENERAL!
I just had one of the BEST customer service experiences ever at the Dollar General located at 4549 Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee, FL (Store #19074) — and it's all thanks to an incredible employee named Yislen.
The store was BUSY. People everywhere. Carts moving. Lines forming. But Yislen handled it all like a total pro — friendly, fast, and focused. When I walked up to the register, she greeted me with a smile that instantly made the chaos feel calm. I was holding a pillow I planned to buy, and without hesitation, she politely asked me to hold on just a moment. Then — like a customer service superhero — she jetted down the aisle and came back with another pillow in hand.
Turns out, the pillows were buy one, get one free — and I had NO idea. She didn’t have to do that. She didn’t have to go the extra mile. But she did. Because that’s the kind of employee she is.
I was honestly trying to save money and could only afford one pillow. Thanks to Yislen, I walked out of there with TWO — and a huge smile on my face. She made my day. No — she made my WEEK.
She treated every single customer with kindness, respect, and a contagious energy that more places desperately need. She’s an asset to the store, to the company, and to the entire customer service industry.
KUDOS to Yislen — and serious respect to whoever hired her. Dollar General, please recognize this woman. Employees like her are rare, and when you find one, you hold on tight.
SHE. IS. AWESOME. ??”
“I was at the Dollar Tree on 17/92 and pleasent hill, Loida was very kind in getting me the product I needed. His positive attitude and action-oriented approach made this particular visit very enjoyable for me. Thank you Loida and the entire team. Keep it up. ????”
“Pretty good store. My sister and I had fun poking around on our little treasure hunt. Yeah, there's boxes in the way, but we worked around them. Check out was quick & easy.”
“It's the dollar tree we all know the things we find here especially on dates like this Christmas there is a world of wonders for the season for crafts also beauty items kitchen and more”
“Very clean, haves the best deals & I always enjoy shopping there listening to good music that makes me dance… The employees are kind & very respectful. Customer service is always on 100 there are very attentive to help you in anything you need especially Yazzy who is always willing to help & give you good conversation & a good laugh… I recommend this store to everyone…”
“I have been shopping at this store for several years and generally enjoy a pleasant experience. However, I often face a language barrier. I would say around 60% of the time when I'm at the cash register, I'm addressed in Spanish. I usually just nod in agreement, hoping it's a friendly greeting. For this reason, I am giving a 4 and not a 5 star rating. I believe that since most, if not all, of the cashiers can speak English, they should start by addressing customers in English.”
“There is a woman named Sonja that works at the BVL store , I hav never received the type of service she provides, she makes sure the store is clean and is an all around star! She deserves a raise!”
“Good store, but wish they had shopping carts for customers to use. When i really want to buy stuff, i go to another store, not here.Update: they finally have carts available and 3 self checkouts.”
“Very good customer service every time I walk into this location. I am always being help by two employees Jessica and Martinez. These 2 young ladies are always very helpful and polite.”
“The new store manager seems like a nice lady, I like going to this store rather than the dollar general 2 minutes down the road because it gives off better energy and the cashiers at least smile when ringing you up.”
“I am so glad that Dollar Tree ? is located close to where I live! Dollar tree has great prices! Dog and Cat treats, toys and chew bones for the Dog are an amazing deal-for a $1.25 No store around can beat the prices! I always been impressed! Holiday decor, children’s books, stickers and toys are very good quality. I would recommend shopping at Dollar Tree for these items.”
“I like Dollar Tree, I don’t always get everything that I want here, but they do have a lot of items. I do wish they sold t-shirts though. Most of their items are reasonably priced and most of their stores are organized (not all). Some of their stores could definitely be more cleaned, but aside from that they have a variety of products.”
“One of my FAVORITE stores anymore. They kind of went from being the ugly stepchild to Walmart and have now become better than Walmart as far as price, organization and cleanliness.”
“Family dollar is a very low priced grocery store with other household items. It's not fancy with items often in cartons to be put away in the aisles. But the prices are usually the lowest around.”
“Excellent store - wide array of high quality products especially at that price point - all great as souvenirs, or even just fun trinkets. Fantastic customer service!! Will definitely return next time we're in the area!!”
“I Love This Particular Dollar General! It's Not Far From My House And I Pretty Much Know All The Employees And They're Always Courteous And Helpful! But One Of The Things I Love The Most Is That They Pretty Much Have Everything You Need Which Saves Me From Having To Go To Walmart Or Some Of The Bigger Stores.”
“Great convenient dollar store for all your little items. While rushing and getting ready for your vacation to Kissimmee Florida and you forgot something to pack, why not stop into Full Dollar like I did. There's always an item or two you don't think about packing or just plain old forgot to, Full Dollar has a variety of little things that are cheap, owner or cashier was very friendly and helpful. So glad I stopped in to get the items I forgot back home, if I would have went somewhere else I probably would've spent a lot more. Thanks Full Dollar you saved me money.”
“Really enjoyed this dollar tree location. Things one really needs at the $1.25 price. Marlene was very friendly and helpful. She has a great attitude and cares about the customers. Looking forward to being back there again.”
“I love this place! A true dollar store. They have the best selection of greeting cards ever. I love their gift bags. I hate wrapping presents and knowing that all that time spent it wasted but when I can buy a nice looking gift bag that is cheap makes me feel so much better. The selections of balloons are plentiful and who doesn't like getting a balloon bouquet? I have made several theme baskets for people and this is the only place I go to get the materials. The staff is warm and helpful. The store is well kept and organized otherwise.”
“Well, you know, this chain of stores is the first that comes to mind to buy anything you need for a detail, they are specialists in getting things from all the holidays, they also sell a drink that I like, so continue stopping to take something with you.”
“The cashier was super helpful in figuring out the family dollar app for the coupons and showed me some tricks. Store was clean and well organized which is rare these days. Easiy to navigate the isles and helpful staff.”
“I didn't always love shopping at this location until Amber started working there. She makes my shopping truly a pleasure. I'm happy to wait for her register. She is sure to brighten my day. Thanks Amber!!”
“The Managger refused to lend me the bathroom so I couldn't make my purchase. It's unusual. I always buy there but I won't return. How rude and inhumane they are.”
“I visited this store because it seemed to have a larger selection than my local Dollar Tree. I was specifically looking for and found two $5 mats for my kitchen floor. My shopping experience was quite enjoyable, as the cashier was friendly and greeted me in English, which was a refreshing change from my previous experiences at my local store?”
“I shop there at least once a wk the employee's r nice an pleasant they usually have everything i need, store is always clean, i recommend this Family Dollar store everyone in the area”
“This Family Dollar is conveniently close to home so I like that but shopping in this store is hit or miss I can't always find what I need. But clean and well kept.”
“Very clean, organized Dollar General to date. Not much traffic due to location. The store is obscured by trees. I found it by making a U-turn. Will certainly return now that I know it's there. The Store Manager was friendly.?”
“? ROBO REVIEW: THIS DOLLAR GENERAL JUST SET THE BAR ?
Let’s be real for a second.
You ever walk into a discount store and it feels like a scene from a post-apocalyptic movie?
One cashier looks like she’s seen war.
Another’s staring blankly at the floor, trying to astral project out of their shift.
Boxes in the aisle like landmines.
And you? Just trying to survive long enough to grab a loaf of bread and a bottle of cold medicine.
That’s the norm.
But not here. Not this time. Not this Dollar General.
And let me tell you — I wasn’t even in good shape.
A little groggy, under the weather, just needed some medicine and a quiet minute. This spot’s right down the road from where I’m staying, so I made a quick stop... and walked into what felt like a damn retail miracle.
From the moment I stepped inside, it was different.
The store was spotless — I’m talking floors you could eat off of, shelves stocked and organized like someone took actual pride in their work, and a vibe that made you forget for a moment you were in a Dollar General and not some hidden gem of a mom-and-pop shop.
And the staff?
Next level.
Every single one of them was moving with purpose — stocking shelves, assisting customers, and doing it all with smiles, eye contact, and genuine greetings.
Multiple employees asked if I needed help, and not in that robotic, “I-have-to-say-this” way.
It was real. They meant it.
Let me emphasize this:
They asked me what I needed.
They showed actual concern for a customer — a sick, probably slightly grumpy customer at that.
In 2025? That’s rarer than a cart without a busted wheel.
I didn’t get names like I usually do — I just wasn’t at 100%. My head was foggy, my body was dragging, and I barely had the energy to focus. But I damn sure noticed the effort from that whole team. And that effort deserves to be seen, respected, and appreciated.
? So to the crew at this Dollar General:
KUDOS. PROPS. SALUTE.
You made a sick guy’s day better just by showing up and doing your jobs like you actually give a damn.
Keep being the rare ones. The ones who care.
The ones who prove that excellence doesn’t need to be expensive — just intentional.
Much love and respect,
— Robo”
