TownePlace Suites The Villages is a solid place to stay in a great location within the Spanish Springs area, close to the town square and many nearby activities. It offers good value with nice suites featuring full kitchenettes, including an oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and utensils. The included breakfast has plenty of options like scrambled eggs, pork sausage, daily quiche, DIY waffles, and cold cereal. Reviews note the friendly and excellent staff, though some feel the hotel is in need of a few upgrades. Criticisms include average-sized rooms with a horrible layout where the TV is tucked behind a wall, run-down pool facilities with filthy tiles and a broken ladder, and a breakfast area that can be too crowded. Some guests found the hotel overpriced for the location and noted that coffee in the lobby was hit or miss. While the location is very walkable and golf cart friendly, there is no visible place to charge an electric cart.
