āBest Dollar General I ever visited! Small store with excellent staff who go above and beyond to make your visit an experience. Shout out to Jesus and Chris at this awesome store! After driving in from out-of-town we were greeted by Jesus, whom went out of his way to help us find the car charger that best matches for what we needed (not a simple task as we did not have the regular usb connection). Thank you so much for all your help!ā
āMy stop for activities for my children, my holistic area and checking toys, the individual vanilla and strawberry incense is super divine, impossible not to put it in, if you are going to start a yoga class or any activity that requires a mat and a blanket, you will find it here. Cleanly organized and if you need to do a quick detail here it is an option.ā
āI always like coming to this location. Because Gloria is always here with a smile on her face and Mary and very helpful. Always staying busy and always there to answer everybody's questions. I think that is outstanding in the environment and the extent of the customer service that they go to to accommodate. Would make anyone want to come back?Always nice, always smiling,and always working and I appreciate everything they do Gloria is extremely patient she never even that's an eye. Add the one thousand questions that may come her way she responds with a kindness & quickness .she is the reason I come back to this store?Her personality outranks every bin store in polk county! āI love the Dollar Tree, it's one of my favorite stores, BUT, the phone # that is listed is a NON WORKING #!?? Sometimes i'd like to call before making the trip there to see if they have a certain item, or ask their hours ect. That's inconvenient in my opinion.ā
āEnjoyed shopping there, I wish it was closer to my home, I would prefer to shop there then Walmart, prices where competitive and the shelves well stocked, the cashier was friendly and courteous.ā

āI am an out of town visitor. I like to go to stores wherever I visit. I was looking for some coffee and drink replacements that were not super expensive. I hit the jackpot here. They had every variety of what I was looking for and some I never had before.I was also looking for Sriracha which is hard to find right now. They were fully stocked and it was only $2 a bottle.This store is immaculate. Everything is in its place. It didn't look like the normal stores you visit. Other locations look like a bomb hit it because it's so junky. Not this location. Very pleasant shopping experience.ā
āI like Save-A-Lot because everything in that store is reasonable nothing is too expensive and he pretty much have everything you need for the holidays and regular days I love itā
āIt's nice because it's right near my house. Good service too, but I've only been in once. I'm mostly just making a review to say that I fould a stolen FD shopping cart while out biking, and I would have returned it, but the location is unfortunately beyond where I'm allowed to go. Tomorrow I'll ask my dad if I can go out a bit farther just once to return the cart.ā
āI normally shop with this specific Dollar General a few times out of the week,and I must say that their employee Tina is such a sweet girl.Csr is amazing and she is always so welcoming.I wish that other Dollar Generals were like her.ā
āI shop at this store quite often. On my last visit, I realized they sell fresh fruit and vegetables. The store is very clean. They have a variety of things that can be purchased at this store. The prices are very good.ā

āThank you to the friendly and very great sense of humor and smile cashier Lisa who i had the pleasure of going through her line after attempting to go through the other line and being told the receipt tape of orders was not available on this register by a gentleman by the name of Vince who let's say really wasnt thrilled on being there the other cashier stepped out from register her name was Lisa and she was fabulous she made sure our order was correct and it was the first time we ever used a digital coupon so I just was wanting to confirm it worked she made it simple and easy and pleasant ! I thank you and hope you are the cashier the bext time I have the chance to get there againā
āI always come to this store since I live nearby. I was shocked on how clean, well stocked and neat the store was. I was used to seeing empty shelves and cluttered isles. It was nice to shop here for once. ?ā
āThis is a regular Dollar General. Why I gave it a 4 star was the check out gentleman. I had my 2 grand daughters age 4 & 7 out for a "shopping spree". They had their own money and carefully shopped. They had to make decisions to put some things back. When we got to the counter to check out they each paid for their items. The gentleman was very patient with them and Grandmom appreciated his tolerance. My next visit we'll be back to do more shoppingā
āIt s a Family Dollar. So that means boxes on the floor, shelves haphazard stocked, overworked staff, etc. However, they did have the Mentos gum and Monster Energy drink I wanted, and the cashier was friendly.ā

āGood place to buy everything for the home, cosmetics, groceries or any merchandise necessary to decorate, repair at home. Super cheap prices although now it is 1:25 of a dollar. I recommend to everyone who visits Florida, visit one or more of the stores because you can get different items. Now the items have different prices, but it is still much cheaper than in other stores.ā
āI got here at 8:30. Very long line. Parking lot was nearly full. Only poor Kenneth is checking everybody out. He had such a friendly kindest position and greeted everybody with warmth and friendliness and not a single person complain. The kid did a great job. Probably could use another helper though. But he managed it like a champ. This was not a messy Dollar general. I needed a hammer. It's only $0.50 more than Walmart but it cut 20 minutes off my drive. Very convenient.ā
āI'm giving DG 5 stars for its hard working, stressed out employees. Let ME tell you what the problem is! I'm an over the road truck driver who trained on the DG account. My oldest daughter was training to be a store manager for them but quit. Not because she didn't like the people or job but the stress! Us drivers would show up at the stores with there delivers. Sometimes half or a 3rd of the trailer per store. Everything is pushed into the back room that most often isn't big enough because each store sells so much. The employees have to take care of the customers, stock shelves, and run register at same time. There is no time to stock! My daughter got written up twice for closing store at night and working off the clock to try and get store organized. She has OCD. It's not within her to walk away from a job unfinished. Most of the, during the day time, there is one cashier, a manager, and one other person to stock shelves AND they have to back up the cashier if needed. The managers run crazy trying to help in every area. Just put yourself in their shoes. Next time you go inside and see all that stuff in those carts. Just imagine it was your job to put all that away. You have one maybe 2 days until next truck comes in.The best way to beat this problem is do like Walmart and Home Depot. Have a night crew!!! They wouldn't have to deal with customers or money! JUST STOCK!! This way every store would be fully stocked when opening first thing each day. The day time employees would only have to deal with customers and maybe, just maybe a few items that didn't get done.It's time for DG to step it up and hire more people to better serve YOU!! In the long run DG would increase there profits! It's working for Walmart and Home Depot! Look at there quarterly sale.ā
āI like this location it's on my way to work parking is good. They have the same stuff dollar tree does but some of it is cheaper like the garden lights are 1.00 here at dollar tree they are 1.25 and let me tell you I'm stocking up on those lights they are better then candles during hurricane season in the morning you just lay them in the sun they are ready for the night and you don't worry about if you left a candle lit, large manilla envelopes a PKG of 6 is 1.00 at dollar tree it's 4 for 1.25.the dish soap are 1.00 at dollar tree you pay 1.25 so check on things.ā
āLike this store, affordable prices and service is nice. I like the candles they sell for a dollar. I've bought candy, pound cake ,decorations, candles, bags ,cups, and more from this store all great quality price and the gift ability of the things sold here are 610 sells essentials and more. Wait time was minimal. Carts must stay inside the store . big store but its spread out so its not a big amount of products but I like it. Prices were not on fabuloso cleaning wipes so I decided not to buy due to my small budget concerned on the price. I like the dollar tree as well. Here is a photo of the candle and coastal dĆ©cor I purchased here. Store is short staffed (or appears so ) masks not required but sign says they are very confusing. They do sell clothing, panties, bras ,pants ,shirts ,shoes, and its convenient in case you spill a snack or get wet . Lots of snacks .great for a quick stop on a road trip . Thanks for your wonderful store and service. Update : went today on Thursday Feb 24 2022 . again a great experience . shoes felt like better quality than Walmart.ā
āI'm a regular at this store. This store always has what I need and the staff is hardworking and pleasant . My only complaint is that it is so hot in the store. By the time I get to the register, I am sweating! Please turn the air conditioner on!ā

āI love this store in Polk City! I went in Saturday 3/29, got to the register and was having an issue with my app. Both Sherry and Shay were so kind and worked with me to fix my issue. They were both so patient and expressed some excellent customer service! Thank you ladies!!!ā

āBig Al's here are friendly and courteous and are always willing to help find something. I noticed early in the morning this store is really calm and quiet so I like to go in before there's too many people when the lines get long it's not as fun.ā
āIts a great place to go and get deals they have a aisle where everything is a $1 like toliet paper and Kleenex also body wash and laundry detergent along with dish soap and many other useful items the people who work there are very friendly and they also have lots of other items like frozen food and dairy and other grocery items and lots of other itemsā
āMy go to DG. I love all of the staff everybody is very kind! The young ladies and men work very hard. Iām in the store almost every other day for something lol.ā
