“We got the privilege to rent this fancy 2023 truck from Budget. We love trucks so it was nice to finally get to drive one of these. The place/office is inside of The Westin Hotel in Lake Mary so pretty hidden/hence you don't see it from outside. We had a hiccup on our traveling schedule and ended up having to extend our reservation. One of the down falls that we encountered with this rental was that they did not allow us to extend it over the phone, they stated only in person. When we drove to the closest location where we were my hubby had some card issues so he told the clerk at the counter he would be back so he could be able to quickly empty out the vehicle to return it since they couldn't process his card. Unbeknownst to us, the gentleman then replied if you turn it in 30 mins after the time we charge a daily $10 fee. Kind of a hack we wish we would of known. I say kind of though because it really wasn't the full case either they changed a $40 charge for the 2 days late on top of a $17 overcharge fee called "7% confession fee". My hubby noticed the extra charges once he got home, go figure. So silly pro tip look at your receipts lol and also real tip make sure your daily quotes match up with the quoted travel agency price. Il update this if/once he calls tomorrow to try to get some of these fees waived since he was told it would be less for the late fees. Other than that comparing to other rentals this place isn't so bad and our situation is a bit unique. If he had spoken up about the fees when checking out too maybe they could of accommodated us better.I'd just like to update my review. My husband called back and budget kindly waived most of the late fees and returned him $45 since he had come in the the office on time to extend the rental. We appreciate that and will be doing business with them in the future.”

“I had an AMAZING experience with this location. Derron is extraordinary! I had to get a vehicle last minute due to mine being in the shop. I had a reservation through my warranty company but I was told they didn’t have any vehicles available. I called about 5 minutes before closing and spoke with him and he went above and beyond in getting me into something right away and I only had to pay a little bit more so I was ok with that. From pickup to drop off He was great! I had to get another warranty reservation right after and I would have definitely given them my business but there was specifics involved with the next one. “Starting the review with saying both Raj and Eric are amazing humans who do try to help. Raj showed me the ropes on how to use the vehicle as I hadn’t driven a fully electric one at this time. They got handed a weird lot and sometimes in retail / customer service industries that can be bigger deal.The car itself, wasn’t my cup of tea -there was a little delay as to which location and just finding charging stations ??♀️Although, the experience was educational and I’d probably never have driven a tesla otherwise.It’s easy to be frustrated, just remember that customer service isn’t for the faint of heart. The manager helped my husband and we returned today, Monday, to change some of our rental. Again, the manager assisted us and she couldn't have been more patient with us. She researched all of our options and prices to give up the best possible terms and pricing. Even though there were people waiting in line, she didn't rush us.
