Since Home Depot went to self-service the whole store went down hill. Both customer service and short on people on the floor to help with your projects. All the stores were so were very customer friendly, now all they want is to take your money to get you in and out. When you need help it takes a half of day to find someone. When you do they get out a phone and go to the web. Well tonto I could have stayed home and did the same. Well I do all my business at Ace were they have personal that have the knowhow and the knowledge of what you are working on. Guess what they have personnel to help before Home Depot could run a air line they had every one on the same page, but now they seem that either lost the book or put it a lost file. Vincent M.

I suppose the days of the helpful and knowledgeable hardware guy are long gone, and we have entered the era of finding employees who will work cheap but don't actually know anything... That's not entirely true, there is one old guy that knows where everything is and how to best use it, but they have him in the screws and bolts section, doing inventory. Won't matter though, they don't stock replacement parts or accessories for most brands they sell... The saw over in lumber is out of order most days, but that doesn't matter because the one guy that has to help you is on break. The cashiers are friendly but you'll still get through a lot faster if you use the self checkout. Parking is atrocious.

Home Depot installed our hurricane/ impact windows. It /seems/ that the install itself went well, but we have no way of knowing for sure because HD dropped the ball on the inspection. It's been about a *year* since we started this process, and the windows themselves were installed just in time for hurricane season. I've called them practically every week to find out what is holding things up. They keep saying the same thing over and over and there has been no movement on what they need to do to do the inspection. The permit already expired once, and will be expiring again in just a few months. This is just incredibly unprofessional and I'm at my wits end. In the meantime, a different Home Depot crew replaced our hot water heater and they were on the ball with scheduling the inspection and calling us to let us know the status. A huge huge difference in quality, professionalism, responsiveness, overall a smooth process. There was a minor issue with the second one, but they were on top of it. Hugely disappointed in the folks handling the window installation follow up.

Waited 20 minutes at desk to order paint - no one. Workers passed but didn't stopped. Called customer service saying no one seemed to be working. Was told they only had one person working paint and that person was on lunch. Said they would send the manager to help me. Another 20 minutes - no one. Went to Sherwin Williams got helped as soon as I walked in. If I need to grab and go I'd go back but anything that requires assistance I'll go somewhere else

They have great selection of products but their customer service sucks, big time. IF you can find an employee and that is harder than you think they usually have several other customers in front of you who has that kind of time ?... Not me I'm 76 yrs old I'd have to hope I outlive the other customers ahead of me. I gratefully have found Lowe's on Ocheechobie Blvd and they have a great bunch of employees willing to help and they even have phones in different multiple areas you can just pick up and request a attendant to come to jour assistance. Now that is customer service. The only thing they might want to do is start hiring more employees because on my last visit I met up with several customers I had seen in Home Depot.

Thanks Franco, while you sat in the paint department on your phone rather than helping customers we wasted $80 on the wrong paint because we had no one to ask about paint. My wife asked him if this was what we needed but he looked at her and went back to texting on his phone without saying a word. Turned out we bought paint meant for a sprayer. We wasted an entire day rolling paint onto walls that would never blend properly. Now we can't return it and are stuck with a large bucket of paint we will never use. Very dissatisfied with my shopping experience at this Home Depot and don't plan on returning any time soon.

Typical H.D trying to find out if what I want to purchase is available. 6 minutes and 48 seconds of ringing and no answer. They are comfortable with their market share so, customer service is no longer a priority. This has been in steady decline well before covid, as a former general contractor they were my go to, and now not so much

Years of being a loyal Florida customer buying thousands a month for my small business was told they could not return my products without a receipt. Their policy has been the same for years you could return a product without receipt as long as you use your drivers license. Store Manager Jay would not help me. "Says his hands are tided it's the new policy" looks like I'm taking my business across the street and to competitors that treat their loyal customers better. Thanks Jay for the great customer service and problem solving. FYI it was tubes of silicone I was trying to return.

We ordered window shades in April and they are not ready. First the order was to be complete in June, then July, Then August, now September. We are trying to cancel the piece that is not ready, but they refuse. They tell us it is in production even though the salesman called and asked us to select a different material.

Horrible customer service, and a ton of bad reviews on here. Why is corporate not doing anything?

Your store, it's management and piss poorly trained employees are a complete failure. Diego, and the four other brainless customer support staff as well as the manager who couldn't show me in writing where it was required to show a physical copy of a my insurance card to rent a box truck for 24 hours will be reported to your store's general manager Jason tomorrow when I call your corporate office. At no time was I informed of this "policy" although I had a copy of my insurance on my phone. It is not anywhere on your website except where it states that I have to have "proof of insurance" Nothing states I needed a physical copy. They would not help me print it in store nor would they allow me to email it to your store to print. Again your store will be reported to corporate and if I have to, also to the better business bureau.

I have issues with my dryer for 2 weeks. I have called spoke to supervisors, which stated they will escalate the issue in sending someone to check my dryer First time they came early, which they were suppose to before coming so I can send the person to open my door . Second time I made arrangements, no one came. They keep promising someone will . No one calls I have to constantly call. Tell the story over and over and on e does anything. The so call Supervisor doesn't even call to see how they can help me , I won't ever buy anything from Home Depot. So unprofessional and irresponsible.. Don't go there . I will go to Lowe's next time

Better than the other locations in town. Like coming here on the weekends. The garden section has everything I need.

What an awful place!! Every time I drive to Home Depot to pick up and order I have to wait an hour. Tonight was the absolute worst or the worse experiences. I remained at the store one hour and a half after closing because NO ONE not even the supervisor was able to process a return for me. I ordered thousands of dollars worth of flooring to remodel my home and ended up with 23 boxes left and equivalent of 1,600 dollars and I drove to the store to make a return of the excess boxes. I provided receipts and the original payment method and still one one hour and a half later no one could process the return. Not even the supervisor and they dared to offer store credit (AWFUL). Long behold they sent us home and keep the product for tomorrow so another associate can try to process the return in the morning. I'm speechless I just cannot believe the amount of time I have wasted over the last two months at this store. Going to Home Depot has been by far the worst retail experience I have ever had. You have officially lost me as a customer.

Second shittiest home depot after miami! It would be more pleasant and most likely save time to drive to west palm or west lantana homedepot
