Awesome stay after a not so nice one night stay elsewhere in Lakeland. Vernice at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel better. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. Mr John at breakfast is such a sweetheart and makes sure that you have everything you need. I highly recommend you stay here.Rooms: Soooo clean, plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. Nice flatscreen TV. Room darkening curtains.Safety: Everything is well lit, and safe.Noteworthy details: All staff including housekeeping staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Worst hotel experience I ever had…….I still cannot believe it!! I am writing this in the hopes that nobody EVER has to go through this. The people in this hotel basically left me to sleep on the streets!I wanted to book a room at the hotel front desk because my car broke down in the middle of a 5 hour drive. Rather than finding another Best Western in a nearby location that had availability, they said that I had to leave because I was not a guest. They didn’t even let me charge my phone for a couple of minutes to request an uber/lyft out of there!I was lucky enough that the lyft driver that drove me there originally didn’t leave and he actually took me to another hotel. I tipped him $150 and to be honest it wasn’t enough. If you are willing to sleep under the roof of a hotel chain that would do that to a previous customer, all I can say is good luck to you!!

New Hotel was nice rooms. They have a full breakfast eggs, biscuits and gravy sausage. I think I saw bagels and some other things and coffee. All employees or seem to call. Employees have been helpful and polite. I heard some things and read some things and it wasn't in a good neighborhood. It's just in an industrial neighborhood it's not a bad area I'm 63 years old, female and I went outside by myself at night and felt safe.

The front desk staff at this hotel is very dishonest! We stayed their during the hurricane because we were in a evacuation zone. The evacuation was removed and we were able to go home. I specifically asked the front desk if we would be charged another night since it was 4pm. She told us we would not be charged. Well, we were charged. I called a couple of times asking for the manager to return my call. The manager never returned my call. The front desk person that spoke with was nasty and rude. Beware! Stay somewhere else. I don't like being lied too!

This place is super clean. Rooms are cleaned and refreshed daily and with clean towels. Few hotels follow this policy! The fitness center has an elliptical, a reclining bicycle and two treadmills. And a variety of weights and bands. All seemed new or almost new. There are towels and water in the fitness center, too. Everyone is friendly and helpful and greets you with real warmth. Their breakfasts are the normal southern fare but fresh and tasty. The gentlemen (I'm sorry I can't remember your name) is very helpful and gives great suggestions on how to prepare a perfect breakfast for yourself. We will stay here the next time we're in Florida, that is certain.

This hotel is new and when you walk into the room it smells new. I like that you have to use your room key to get into the back door of the hotel. The morning breakfast is excellent. So many fresh breakfast items to choose from. They have a full hot breakfast and the gentleman and women are a delight that are the cooks.Rooms: Rooms are new and clean.Nearby activities: Only 6 minutes from tge civic center. Historic downtown is 8 minutes with shops and reasturants.Walkability: Sidewalks to walk as fat as you like.Noteworthy details: Excellent experience.

The cleanest, friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was really good. All staff was professional, respectful and helpful. The atmosphere and the smell of a clean hotel was amazing. Definitely would stay here again and recommend this place. Thanks to all who serve and maintain this hotel.Rooms: The suite was definitely more of a relaxing atmosphere. A sitting area w a tv and beds with tv. Very Clean stocked and nice. Ice was close to the rooms as well.

Darn near perfect. New hotel designed perfectly for the business traveler. Spotlessly clean, quiet and I experienced well trained nice employees. The 24 hour coffee area was designed so well it encountered us to just sit there and talk in the afternoon. Breakfast was top tier for best western but for my tastes the packaged scrabled eggs and sausages were low quality for even best western. Community coffee was great.Rooms were so unlike best western and they were clean and clearly done by an interior designer. Bathroom was great and clean with nice amenities and a good exhaust fan. Ice on 4th and 2nd floors. Blackout curtains that worked. Excellent AC/HVAC. Nice tiny microwave. Nice towels and sheets. Nice new modern elevators. A few acceptable luggage carts. Such a wonderful stay. For me I traveled this time with family but I usually use hotels for business. It has every thing I look for in a perfect stay. Clean, quiet, comfortable and safe feeling. Did not notice drugs or seediness during my stay. I appreciate the hotels stance on fake non recognized service dogs.Negatives:1. The hotel has a problem with smokers as most hotels do. These nasty disgusting smokers filled the entire second floor with smoke and the elevator. Seems like the hotel is frustrated but does not appear to be effective in dealing with this nasty scourge. Smokers is what will destroy this place and they should call the cops and have them thrown out as vandals.2. Fridge is tiny and all but unhelpful without a freezer section. Acceptable for several cans of soda and small things. Front desk needs to know fringes have no freezer section. Not great for long stays or anyone who needs a freezer.3. Train whistles.Nearby activities: The is an amazing local playground about 10 minutes drive from hotel that closes at dusk. Nice even without kids.Safety: Felt safe. Modern doors locks and "chains".Walkability: Need a car. Very close to publix headquarters. If you are from publix, fix your bakery items. Similar to Walmart.

My only issue was that they hold my deposit for more than a week with no reason and when I called the office all the said is I'm sorry with no solution and blaming my bank for the delay what is not true. Other than that ,the hotel cleanness is way above another ones I stayed before and also the kitchen service crew during breakfast was very polite and helpful. The location is not that great but serve the purpose of my visit.

Me and my partner had went in and were waiting on my mother to text us back on what room number she was in, as we were meeting up with her to see the new movie at the drive in. As we were waiting, we used the restroom as it was taking too long for my mom to respond. While in the restroom, we got notification that we were at the wrong hotel and got the address mixed up. As we were laughing about the mix up, a manager came over and asked us what room number we were in. I calmly explained that we had the wrong hotel and that we were leaving. She then began yelling at us and threatened to call the police on us for trespassing and pointed to the sign saying "no public restroom". I explained that we weren't doing anything wrong, as we thought my mom was staying there. I just cannot believe that a slight mix up and using the restroom for less than 5 minutes would cause such a grievance that we would be threatened! I'm so astounded and shocked at the customer service here. Other places would have just laughed it off but apparently here it's enough to warrant the police. Absolutely shameful and i am SO GLAD my mother is not staying at such a horrible hotel.

Employees were very very nice and friendly. They made sure everything about our stay was more than comfortable. The breakfast was awesome, there was a lot of options. The rooms were big and roomy and the bed was so comfortable. The area was well lit during the night and we felt very safe. The hotel in general was very nice and updated. Only con is they don’t have a pool or a laundry facility

Out of a 4 night stay, we had no water on day 2. Once we did have water that afternoon,, we had no hot water. They continued to check in a group of students and teachers without warning the customers that the hotel had no water at the time. Also,, once repaired, the customers were not notified that there was no hot water. Also, when asking about the water issue, we were told that they would pass the complaint on to the hotel manager. We would have liked to speak to Mr. KISHAN PATEL, but we were told he would be there in a few hours. The young lady took our name and room number. We have yet to get a phone call. The rooms were nice, but you cannot do much without running water and/or cold showers. There was also the sound of the train and traffic from the road throughout the day and night.Vernice and the gentleman that cooked breakfast were so sweet. I did want to add this in. Their kindness did not go unnoticed. We will not be returning to this hotel because of the way business is conducted here from the general manager. You cannot allow staff to continue to check in guests when you have issues such as this that has not been repaired. You also should offer some type of compensation or make arrangements for your current guests in a situation like this. You could offer a wash pan to have sponge baths and offer a dish of some sort to heat water.
