“I have to say that this store is so above to all the other furniture stores.
I bought an electric chimene and because I leave close to the store they did a free delivery to my home.
It took only 3 days, customer service excelente, the seller answered all my questions and show me different models.
I bought in Ashley furniture as well but I requested my money back since they keep blaming COVID for the months delay the same was with Havertys Furniture those stores were full of lies.

“Because this is a Dollar General Market location, it has so much more inventory than a standard Dollar General store. The staff does a great job asking if you need help. The management keeps the store clean also.”

“I really like the selection of items. Love the new decor that seems to be never-ending. Would love to see more gardening items. Hopefully, as the $3, $5 & up items start coming in more, they'll have them.
As always, one of the complaints I have with every dollar tree I go to. They always have only 1 register open. Or wait until there is a line all the way to the back before opening another.”

“They are stocked well, cleaned aisles. Although, I dont love the home area they have in the middle, it feels cluttered & doesn't seem easily accessible. Any staff I've had an encounter with has been friendly, helpful, and patient.”
“I was excited today to see they have a small produce area now! I normally go to the one on 540 since it's by my house but today went to the pipkin one on way to my moms. I hope all the dollar generals will do this! I love the stores as they are so quick and easy to grab random items you need but yes, this little produce section is a great new addition!”

“I've been looking for a "bin store" for forever! My friend found this one and we decided to check it out. It's very small, but basically it's Amazon or SHEIN returns, and every day is a different price. We went on $2 day, and I scored a Roblox backpack (brand new) for only $2! I can't wait to go back on a pricier day to see what they get in. I feel like it was mostly clothes, but they have some other really good stuff here. We need more stores like this in Lakeland!”

“I happen to go to this dollar general almost every other day and it's always clean and everyone is very nice but there is an employee named Tonia there who literally goes out of her way to help..weather it's a price check..discount..directions on where to find things..everytime she has either helped me or someone else out has gone above and beyond..dollar general is lucky to have her. “I walked into Dollar General, on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 to grab a few things that I needed before I got home. As I was going to go pay, the gentleman in front of me had a language barrier where he only understood Spanish. The cashier Tyrese, went above and beyond and use his bilingual capabilities to let him know how much he had to pay, as the customer did not understand. I like to personally let the owners of Dollar General know that this young man is a prime example of the type of people you want representing your brand. Thank you Tyrese for being generous, understanding, and intelligent. I only hope this small gesture lets you realize the impact you can make our community or anywhere you go.”

“I gave this place four star because of the store doesn't always stock the shelves, and it and the store quit selling moo goo chocolate milk is no longer sold there in place of their own, which I do not like. and the staff don't even like it,there. there's a lot of stuff still left on the floors and carts they are slow putting stuff up. But it is a nice little store to go in and grab what you need real quick if I have it. I can't food dog food cans or dry packages stuff like that.”
“I moved to Lakeland 5 years ago April 2018. I have been shopping at the Lakeland Store on New Tampa Hwy and Wabash Ave. at least 3-4 times a month. The products and food goods are excellent. The store is clean and the people who work there are friendly and very helpful. It has gone through several up grades and has gotten better each time. I still am shopping at this store and happy with the lower prices. JIM”

They actually seem like they enjoy where they work compared to a lot of other places that I’ve been to.
