“I would just like to say that I almost stopped coming to this store because of the so called manager teressa was not helpful and just over all rude and uninterested in helping me while she was on her cell phone. I tried to ask her about sugar free red bull flavors and was dismissed. But I came in last night and spoke to a michelle and she was an absolute doll. After I walked around the store like a ditz trying to find what I needed I asked her if she could possibly help me find some caffine. Not only did she walk me to the hall way with all the redbulls she engaged with me on a personal level and truly helped me as a person and not just a customer”
“Because this is a Dollar General Market location, it has so much more inventory than a standard Dollar General store. The staff does a great job asking if you need help. The management keeps the store clean also.”

“I always come in the staff is amazing the guy that does the hiring knows how to pick them everyone is seriously so kind. Today I came in with my husband and son there is a girl that is always so sweet and takes the time to make it so special for my kids when they come in for a small treat. She is always a stand out star and another man that appears to be manager is exceptionally kind when you come in they have definitely made dollar general a staple run in our house. I can not say enough about the staff it’s just a really nice place to go where the people appear to be happy to work there and help others.”

“I've been looking for a "bin store" for forever! My friend found this one and we decided to check it out. It's very small, but basically it's Amazon or SHEIN returns, and every day is a different price. We went on $2 day, and I scored a Roblox backpack (brand new) for only $2! I can't wait to go back on a pricier day to see what they get in. I feel like it was mostly clothes, but they have some other really good stuff here. We need more stores like this in Lakeland!”
“Dollar Tree is great. It's the best place to do crafts that's for sure. If you're a crafter there you go just have to watch some of the prices on some stuff cuz you never know what the prices are anymore so they do have price finders where you can check prices at least at the ones I go to but it just sucks that you don't know the prices unless it's tagged on there the price”
“They are stocked well, cleaned aisles. Although, I dont love the home area they have in the middle, it feels cluttered & doesn't seem easily accessible. Any staff I've had an encounter with has been friendly, helpful, and patient.”
“Surprised with the quality of this dollar general. Besides it being a bit sketchy I thought it was pretty good. They employees weren't jerks and the prices for the specific items I bought were actually good deals which are unlike the usual prices at dollar stores. I got a zero sugar electrolit drink for 2.75 at CVS it would have been 3.79. It's conveniently located near Lakeland regional, and the tax collector.”
“Megan was wonderful helping, they just moved everything around I couldn't find anything Megan notice ask could she help, she was able to locate with ease everything I was looking for and the prices, also updated me on all sales, since I drive 8 miles out of my way to shop there several times weekly, due to the wonderful attitude and knowledge Megan brings to her job always with a smile, thank you, Chris”
“I was excited today to see they have a small produce area now! I normally go to the one on 540 since it's by my house but today went to the pipkin one on way to my moms. I hope all the dollar generals will do this! I love the stores as they are so quick and easy to grab random items you need but yes, this little produce section is a great new addition!”

“I moved to Lakeland 5 years ago April 2018. I have been shopping at the Lakeland Store on New Tampa Hwy and Wabash Ave. at least 3-4 times a month. The products and food goods are excellent. The store is clean and the people who work there are friendly and very helpful. It has gone through several up grades and has gotten better each time. I still am shopping at this store and happy with the lower prices. JIM”

“Something always happens when I go here. Once there was a man screaming in the aisles while the poor workers tried to get him to leave, another time a new hire cashier complained about what I was buying. Never a dull moment in Lakeland.”

“The Dollar General is my all time favorite store to shop in. Never crowded, geat prices, not so big that it takes you forever to find stuff you need and usually a speedy checkout unless it's super busy. Some of the stores are now offering self check-out.”

“I must say my experience here was horrible until I met Dee she helped me so much. Dee help me get my order. I couldn't find a lot of things and she made sure she found every single item that I needed. My goodness If it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't have got the tip that I got. She was dealing with one customer that just would not stop yelling at her and she handled it so well. I was amazed at how well she handled the situation and de-escalated the situation. You need more people like Dee”
“I gave this place four star because of the store doesn't always stock the shelves, and it and the store quit selling moo goo chocolate milk is no longer sold there in place of their own, which I do not like. and the staff don't even like it,there. there's a lot of stuff still left on the floors and carts they are slow putting stuff up. But it is a nice little store to go in and grab what you need real quick if I have it. I can't food dog food cans or dry packages stuff like that.”
