It was one year since i saw the Eye Doctor in Lakeland and they were located across from the hospital, on Lakeland Hills Bvld. I went there and discovered they moved to us 98 north ( no notice given) I had an appointmentAt 3:00 and because i had to go to another location i was 14 minutes late for an appt.They would not see me because the doctor has a policy if 10 minutes late, they will not take appointment. The receptionists were extremely rude and would not accommodate my appointment. I was told i had to go to Plant City and try to get an appt there. I will never return to my eye doctor again and recommend that anyone should not waste their time going there. Someday, turn around will happen to these people and they will have to wait hours for their appt. God forbid they would be late, for any reason.Mean, unbendable and unreasonable medical practice! Get another profession

For my appointment the doctor was very nice, but the assistants in the office were far from helpful.As a new patient to both glasses and this facility I had NO CLUE what to expect.Once I Checked in and was told to wait in the waiting room - I had no clue where that was and made to feel very stupid when I asked where it was located.From there I was Referred to as the incorrect name and felt very rushed the entire time completing everything before seeing the doctor. The worst part of this experience was the time spent with the lady at the end who helps you with your glasses. She was helpful when she thought I was going to buy glasses there but once I asked for my prescription to be printed it was like a switch flipped and all of her customer service skills disappeared. You could instantly see her frustration and feel the tension. I am not sure if this position is commission based but the lack in service was very noticeable.Over all save your time and money, go to a different location.The doctor was very nice but the office staff isn’t worth the hassle.

Even with the minor discrepancy with my insurance and it's coverage the employees were very understanding and kind.

I made the appointment personally, drove an hr. to appointment to be told it was canceled, no email, no call...Judy states whoever canceled didn't write any notes. That they can schedule another date. A 3rd trip that could get canceled again without notice. Kelly is no longer here and she is terribly missed.

All four of us went here for our glasses and mine got messed up and I had to wait an extra week for my correct glasses. Figured it was just a mishap and not a huge deal, we came back here the following year for glasses again. This time, my husband's glasses weren't correct. Not to mention the upselling is beyond pushy. So finally we ended up going elsewhere. My mother, needing glasses, came to My Eye Doctor, as they were the only ones that take her insurance. First of all, let me say that it is a big deal to get my mom out and about as she can barely walk. It is quite the undertaking getting her to appointments. When we walked in, there was nobody at the front desk and we had to wait several minutes for someone to come check her in. Then when someone came, they took the people that had arrived AFTER me, before me. So, finally checking her in, they inform us that because she didn't answer the phone when they called to confirm the appointment, they kicked her off the schedule. They had an old number, so she didn't get the call. I have missed confirmation calls for doctors, dentists, etc. and NEVER ONCE, did they cancel the appointment because they couldn't reach me. Ever. Absolutely ridiculous. Now, we have to go through the process of getting my mom out and about again for another appointment, because we basically just wasted time for this one. THIS kind of stuff is why we no longer use My Eye Doctor. We switched to Pearle Vision and what a huge difference. It's like Pearle actually WANTS your business. Who would have guessed? If you can help it, don't waste your time here.

Rude rude rude rude staff. I came in here very quiet and polite asking a question the girl behind the desk had to get up three times to go ask the manager she was irritated and annoyed very unfriendly so I walked over to the manager myself because after her irritating having to get up for the third time to go ask somebody something and acting like we were bothering her I decided to ask myself when I walked over to the manager she practically bit my head off because she was with another. Sure won't come back to this location.

I made an appointment. Scheduled the day off. Got everything in order in my life to be there for the appointment that I scheduled. Got there the day of, not only on time, but early, just to be told that the appointment was canceled. They said they called to confirm the appointment and because I did not get the call they just automatically cancel the whole appointment. They offered nothing to fix this at all, were extremely rude. Now I have to find a new place, make an appointment all over again, wait all over again, take time off work all over again. Ridiculous. This office has been nothing but problems and horrible associates for the last year I've been going, I'll find a new eye doctor.

I'll reiterate my review, I'll give y'all another star because I did end up visiting this office again but only because hardly any other eye doctors would take my insurance. But bottom line is the doctor was awesome today but the rest of the staff is pretty much incompetent and don't know what they're doing so with that being said might want to consider getting them better training or replace them.

Waited 3 weeks for my appointment and got there 30 minutes before the time to find out they cancelled my appointment because I didn’t confirm through the phone. I confirmed online and filled out the paper and everything. I can’t answer my phone during the day. And now missed a day of work. I will never go back. I rather drive further to a place that is more professional.

Went in to get my frames adjusted young lady was very rude had no clue what she was doing very unprofessional. Don't recommend anybody to go to this branch 98 North Lakeland Florida

The techs were wonderful - receptionists were not to be found. I even found one in the back lunch room who wouldn't come out to help. Several of us waited about be 20 minutes to finally have a tech help us. Fix this please!

Made a appointment on a Saturday because I work during the week. When I arrived the lady at the desk informed me that they had canceled my appointment because I didn't confirm it online. I told her I tried and it didn't work. She said it doesn't work sometimes. I showed her the email confirming my appointment but she said they were already booked up for the day and she could reschedule me for Tuesday. I told her it would have to be on a Saturday. The first one they had was in January. Communication and customer service is poor here. Ill have to try somewhere else.

Update from 1 to 4 stars: I did receive a call from their customer relations department WITHOUT requesting one! Simone made an appointment for me and provided a resolution as well. I am hopeful that they are taking reviews into consideration and hopefully providing training and coaching to their staff. Thank you Simone.Previous Review: This used to be my go to place for years.. little by little getting worse over the last two-three years or so. I get emails telling me it's time to book an appointment. Their website always says appointments for all doctors is not available and says to call. You call and they NEVER answer. I should not have to drive and stop in just to make an appointment like I did last year, not sure why I thought this year would be different. Customer service is not their priority. I have officially moved my family to a new provider and won't ever be back.

The absolute worst in customer experience. No manager to talk to. Location moved yet no information given to returning clients. Noone anwswered the phone. No consideration for time of the client. Buyer be ware. Im taking my money to a company where I am considered. You should too.
